I have been searching a bit and am struggling to find any news on Phil Jones's injury. As the title says I hate swapping defenders unless they are out for a while...

Having waited a few weeks and not heard anything out of OT since he was in a race to be back for the FA Cup tie against Liverpool - The transfer finger is getting itchy.

I wondered if anyone knew anything on the whereabouts of young Phil?

I have him and I am thinking that I have held onto him this long, one more week won't hurt. He must be back sonn.

Me too (but I got badly stung doing the same with hair bear Luiz at the start of the season). Was considering a Sunderland swap as they seem to be doing well, in the same price bracket and still in the cup. Their next month of fixtures put me off.

Yes I was thinking OShea, although Sunderland play Arse twice (assuming they win tonight). They also play West Brom and Middlesborough in the same time that Jones misses the Liverpool game. I would make it season long if I changed.

It is very tempting but Arsenal / Arsenal / West Brom (a) / Newcastle (a) / Liverpool it begins to look less like a bagfull of points. But it could be a gamble worth taking as they look to have more winable than loseable fixtures afterwards (Citeh & Spurs aside).

I think Bardsley had a decent point scoring run about this time last year which continued for a while, KC's from crosses and a goal or two.

Yeah I think my conclusion is only do it in the team with most transfers to burn... hold the rest for easy man u fixtures after 4th March - would help if they had a goalie
