Is this a case of mistaken Taylor identity? (Steven is possibly out for the season). That said Newcastle won't be as tight at the back now, especially with Collocini potentially injured and no recognised centre backs fit...shame they play Norwich next week ;)

FS Record: FPL Results (2005/06~noob~top 20k?) (2006/07~1980~9,044) (2007/08~2087~68,533) (2008/09~2022~14,557) (2009/10~2349~8,120) (2010/11~2111~9,875)
Well, Ryan Taylor can (and will) score goals, assists and accumulate FPL fantasy points whether or not Newcastle is tight at the back... That being said, I will probably take my 0.6 profit on him sometime soon and go shopping elsewhere... Maybe that goal today will jumpstart Huth's season? Will Phil Jones continue in Man Utd's midfield? Vermaelen, BAE, Richards etc... One thing for sure, after having 3 barcodes in my team all season, I'm looking at having none soon enough... S Taylor is crocked and Fergie (while he sure served his purpose - thanks FPL!) will make way for someone with a pulse during the winter months when FPL squads are sure to be stretched due to weather & fixture pileups...

+1 - I'm only concerned about the damage to my team value that selling him will do

Incredibly, he's 92% to another rise, how I'd love to bank that 0.7 profit!

Based on the upcoming fixtures he's going nowhere for me. Chasing team value should be left at the alter come the end of October IMO

i don't begrudge raylor owners at all - in fact well done for getting on board early and getting a good profit - but i just do not understand the nti for him at all in the last few weeks. he's now playing for the weakest defence in the league (albeit only on paper and due to injuries), has scored 1,3,0,0 in the last 4, and costs 5.3! everyone who had him at the start can probably help themselves to another "real" 0.1, mental!

he was good value up til 4.5 or so, but now he's not far off the price you'd expect to pay for a traditional "top 6" defender. there is one of these bandwagons i miss out on every season, I'm just glad his points tally didnt kill me.

Dropped or injured? Not in the squad at all suggests an injury but not seen anything anywhere?

As he's not on the bench either I suspect 'merely' injured

yeah sorry maybe dropped wasn't right, although perhaps pardew's thinking is that while they're not at full-strength at the back, an attacking LB might be a sensible sacrifice. either way i'm sure its not the last we'll see of that terrible terrible man.

I've read on some of the forums that it has been confirmed that he's injured today. I have no source or link at the moment though.

To be fair, if he was not injured he would definitely be on the bench - there's only 1 defender (the semi-fit williamson) of the 6 outfield subs.

Looks like he's back in thanks to Santon's knee injury.

One less headache to worry about.

I cashed him in for Evans, still not totally sure it's a great move but it did allow me to bring in Shawcross for Olsson (both got a CS in the event), so more options as Evans should get loads of opportunities I should think.

Just when you think the Raylor has been used up he now looks like he might have cemented his place on the right side of Newcastle's center midfield.

Obertan is hated by all Magpie fans and has been pretty awful all season so going to be tough for him to win his place back.

Especially now that Pardew has stated at MOTD that he had his strongest 11 out so I would also assume Raylor will play at RM more then he won't
