Parking tickets issued by private companies?

Just received this text from Mrs Richt.

"It's called Debt Recovery Plus. Registered company with VAT number but spelling mistakes on website and most pathetic reasons for parking charges like parking outside of lines".

(apparently the spelling mistake is "arrears")? Surely of all words, they should be able to spell that one? :shock:

I just searched the name and got pages of threads slagging them off as scam artists that can be safely ignored

Me too, I got the exact same results when I googled, it's safe to say our credit rating will not be effected.

Wow, this company has to be one of the most charitable ones around!!

We've received another letter which is offering us a reduced rate :lol:

For a company who claim that they are in the right, it's rather laughable that they think they can tempt someone with a discount 8-)
