I am looking at blitzing my house and need to paint the entire downstairs and stairs.

I have heard a lot about the Paint Runner and it looks to good to be true, but is it?

Then again the Paintpod by Dulux looks like a neat and tidy idea.

Have any of you used any of these methods or it is best to stick to a pot of paint and a £9.99 roller from Focus?

In the end I decided to buy the paintpod, what a great invention.

What's wrong with a brush or a roller?

I've got to paint our stairs etc and the stairwell is 300ft high.

Would this paintpod thing be any good for that?

It feels like 300ft when I'm at the top of a dodgy stairs ladder with a paint brush tied on the end of a broom stick.

I looked at the paint pod pro last year and it seemed to be quite an expensive sollution. Apart from buying the unit, the paint is dearer than other paint as well. There's usually an offer on for paint somewhere but with the paint pod you're stuck with paint pod paint so cant take advantage of shopping around to the same extent.
