Not that I'm complaining, seeing as I have him, but why is Gareth Bale still scoring points as a defender if this is one of their rules?

I like this game, but the scoring structure is a bit weird. Seems that defenders are practically worthless unless you pick ones that scores. The low points for assists is a bit weird too.

Kompany is one player who has changed. He scores points as a defender, but you can only pick him as a Midfield player.

Good spot - how are we supposed to know what positions OPTA list them as?

Bear - I only know about Kompany, as I tried to bring him in as a defender a couple of months ago.

You can tell what position a player is Allocated for points scoring by looking at the Live Scoring Tab, which gives the individual players positions. Kompany is listed as a Defender on the Live scoring, as he is also listed as a Defender on the Stats Pages.

I would expect Bale to be relisted shortly from a Defender to a Midfield player, However as Spurs do not keep Clean sheet points will it make any difference to his points? He might actually get more points as Midfield players do not have points deducted for Goals conceeded.

Its abit of a hit and miss game in my opinion - the main judgement I make is trying to get 11 players who will def play onto the pitch everyweek and taking if from there!

Excellent spot about the players out of position, one to keep an eye one for sure. Main differences if Bale re-classified:-

Attacking Points:
Goal Scored by Defender: 40
Goal Scored by a Midfielder and Striker: 25
Clean Sheet (per 10 minutes)
Defender: 1
Conceded Goal
Defender: -5

A better advantage would be gained if a Midfielder was re-classified as a Defender for scoring (Like Kompany.... )
