Just a thought:

If Burnley and Stoke lose both lose in the 4th round of the FA Cup (possibly against Liverpool and Arsenal respectively - so its plausible) then it would seem quite likely that Stoke will have, in GW26....

the unthinkable....

TRIPLE GAMEWEEK!

Nice spot! Wow!

Wigan and Burnley away, then Man City at home, it would be if it happens. Pretty average fixtures I'd say, but three in a week, can't say no, surely?! :D

FS Record: 573rd in FPL 09/10. 176pts in DGW22 of 09/10.
What's the general opinion on here. Is this all of the likely extra games for GW22 done now or is there a possibility of any more being added?

With the weekend fast approaching and the masses soon realising there are some double GW's I suspect some transfer targets might start to rise in price. I am reluctant to shipp out quality players whom I have made 0.5-1.2 profit on for potential massive points scorerers from Spurs/Liverpool(!) until I know that anyone I get rid of isn't suddenly going to have a DGW this week.

It should be noted that the West Ham v Wolves game, penciled in as a doubler in GW24 is only a provisional date, subject to change. Nothing is set in stone. So don't all be rushing out to buy the likes of Zubar and Nouble just yet!

which would fit into gw30, meaning....

Wigan doubler...Bolton (a) Villa (h)
Villa doubler....Stoke (a) Wigan (a)

wish it was sooner....

Excellent news about Chelsea. That's the date I was hoping for.

I was starting to lose hope.

West Ham and Wolves players for DGW24 not only took a back seat but got thrown into the trunk. Lots of transfers in store for my squad...at the moment all I have is Hunt!

All the mid-week fixtures in the first week of Feb are subject to postponement if FA Cup replays are required.

 UPDATE

Thanks everyone, got in from work sometime after 8pm UK time, and made 2 cups of coffee {with hazelnut syrup} and updated the fixtures on the first page. Found the Burnley v Stoke game has been rescheduled too - which I know is the one you have all been waiting for...

I'd just like to say thanks for your work on this thread Robin and others who have contributed with amazingly up to the minute news. It has helped me a lot and as a result I (provisionally!) have my next 4 weeks of transfers planned for maximum doublers with minimal hits.
This would have been much more work on my part to find the information elsewhere and collate it. Thanks again.

Stole this from elsewhere:

'For those interested, I looked into it and lo and behold England do in fact play Egypt in the midweek following GW28.

This means Aston Villa & Hull definitely miss GW28 and either Man City/Chelsea or Man United/West Ham will be joining them next wednesday.

[all due to the Carling Cup final]'

A shame as Villa have a favourable double in GW 30.

Wolves drew in the FA cup, the replay is the 2nd feb, this will blank out the West Ham game scheduled for that night and remove the doubler for the pair of them.

I knew Wolves would draw. I say knew, I mean I called it, if I knew football that well I wouldn't have had such a bad November and December. Anyway, updated the first page...
