Aston Villa v Sunderland, defo on 24/03 and if Villa go to a replay in the FA Cup 6th Round against Reading then the Wigan game will defo be moved to another date.

Omg... NO replay please!!

Given the way this season has gone all the Cup games will probably be drawn/postponed

Remind me not to log on FPL until 1 hour before the deadline next week.. all this tinkering and planing ahead is just a waste of time this year!!

With both City and Everton being out the FA Cup, the answer to your question is no.

All it takes is two big performances from someone like Drogba or Lampard and there could be scores of over 200!

I might even consider some points hits to be ready for that GW! I'll be screwed without them probably.

Words fail me that i'll be able to field 11 this GW along with having 9 doublers (even with 1 on the bench) for GW31 with a total points hit of 0!

All that work and planning prior to GW24 has paid off, couldn't have done it without you Robin, i'm obliged 8-)

Given the uncertainty surrounding GW29 I held off making any transfers until we knew what was what, and as a result I should also be in a position to field 9 doublers in GW31 with the other two being Rooney (should he not still be injured) and Fab.

Can't believe no-one's yet rushed to point out the following development, given the massive implications it will have on FPL

Wigan v Pompey in GW34 will be postponed due to Pompey's participation in the FA Cup semis.

No: it will be played in the midweek of GW31 (but neither Spurs or Fulham had a double scheduled)

Martin O'Neill from the BBC website:

Matters have got so bad that Villa boss Martin O'Neill has actually asked the Premier League if he can switch some of their games to April. "We have got no midweek games in April at the moment but something like 7,000 in March," O'Neill slightly exaggerated this week. "I've been reminded that we haven't won a game in March since I've been here. We'll now have an opportunity every two and a half days to change that."

On Villa's first half showing today it'd be wise to steer clear anyway :(

Add to that Villa v Everton, and Chelsea v Bolton.

However I think it's likely that Chelsea's game will be rearranged for the following midweek, and hence stay in GW34, since it's one of only two free weeks in the rest of the season (assuming they progress in the CL). Also reasonably possible that Villa will end up playing that Everton game (or the still un-arranged Hull game) that midweek too, and so not miss the gameweek.

So, let me get this straight, Fulham and Stoke will have a DGW now...

If I read this right...
Stoke will have a double but Fulham might not.

If Fulham beat Tottenham, Fulham would play the next round of the FA Cup on 4/10 but still have a game that week on the 14th (but Liverpool won't).

If Tottenham win, Fulham would have a double but Arsenal (and Tottenham) would not have a game.

Oh noes!

Of all their players I have now dumped from my squad I have to bring some in slowly from GW31 until GW34 to avoid point hits.
Maybe, just maybe we will get a "luxury" transfer in GW's 35, 36, 37 and 38 of swapping one player to a different one purely because we think one will do better than the other, not because there is a DGW coming up or lots of players missing a GW or something.

:o UPDATED :o

GW34 seems to depend on the FA Cup replay between Tottenham and Fulham. I am of course assuming the games moved from the weekend will be played in midweek a la Wigan Portsmouth. Due to the Fulham Stoke game now arranged for that midweek from the last round of the cup the Liverpool Fulham game is the only one from the weekend that cannot be arranged here. Basically, if Fulham beat Tottenham, Fulham's DGW is reduced to the single game, and Liverpool miss GW34. If Tottenham beat Fulham, then Fulham have their DGW. Stoke have DGW regardless...
