High hopes for this week - a couple of new signings - but it is raining in Spain, mainly on the golf course!

EDIT: Which means the start is delayed

Not much going on in here this week. All FISOers having a bad time of it too?

Well (temporarily anyway), one of my transfers is paying off at the moment. New boy Sean O'Hair is currently leading the Byron Nelson but Brett Wetterich could spoil things it seems... :? And of course crowd favourite  Doug LaBelle II is on -3 after 11!

Not many completed their rounds over in Spain, though.

Actually it's not the Racing Post one, that's anyother one. (so many comps). It's Todays Golfer I'm talking about, sorry.

Never bothered to look, holidays and golf gear as usual, but there are 12,000 or so in it so very unlikely to win anything. What's good about it is you put one team of 6 players in each week to score points just for one tournament that week.

So far so good...

I have been cheering the performance of Grame Storm (-4) and then gone to check who I have him in with.

Surprise, surprise - took him out 2 weeks ago and replaced with Peter Lawrie.

Has anyone entered the Longmuir competition - predicting the winners each week of certain events. Seems my best chance as to have to predict for 30 weeks in advance (& no duplications) means that it is 50/50 that your guy even plays.

Come on Miguel!!

I have always wanted to put Stuart Little into my team - he may be giving me reason to do so soon! Great character but I wonder how he manages to tee-off?

My team this w/e so far:
- 8 + 4 = - 4 see, you can tell I went to Grammar school :!:

How is it that certain players ie. Howell III had such a good start to the season and now can't even make the cut...I think they set out well just to fool us fantsay golf players
I absolutely refuse to use any more transfers

prophet Padmole here!

Pity I can't predict a winner - just a loser.

Still got lucky with Peter Lawrie - Cant have it all.

Lawrie
Derksen
Dyson
Weir
Pampling
Singh

All through but not exactly challenging

I am a bit confused in relation to what is going on over in Spain - they still playing 2 rounds in the day... some tee-off times will be in the dark, surely?

They are catching up, albeit slowly. An early start tomorrow and they should get finished on time

Everyone now at least on the back 9 of their 3rd round and with good scoring today looks like weather permitting should be a great finish.

Pleased to see Charl Schwartzel still near the top (currently tied 2nd) and hope he can manage a top 10 finish (my pick in Golf World/Longmere Fantasy Golf 2007 where I'm currently also tied 2nd).

I have Dyson and Schwartzel, both looking good for low rounds - but disappointingly just realised they are in different teams

Edit: As I type this just checked - Dyson shot a 66 but Schwartzel dropped a couple  Would have preferred the other way round as I have O'Hair in the same team as Schwartzel... typical!

You should have a copy of your team in the e-mail address you used to register. Otherwise the leaderboard gets updated at least monthly with a password in Golf World maagzine. Someone will post it as and when.

Nice one Admin - top of the board I think!

Looks like a comp that can be one with a little foresight. I simply picked names randomly.

Will definitely research next year and rely on luck for remainder of this!

Molinari for me next week!

Well done Chris. You seem pretty hot on the golf games.
The PGA tournament is hotting up too - only three shots between 4th and 30th. I have 5 players in the mix for my fantasyleague team and could get a lot of points or none!

PS. What is the "pappje" in el pappje.?? I put it into my Spanish - English Translator and it came up with "The Pappje" ?????
