So how many of us went for the triple crown of Westwood/McIlroy/Kaymer this week then?

Did the combination of a stellar field in the US this week and no event next week tempt you to burn those transfers?

Started promisingly, with McIlroy and Kaymer sharing the lead, but of course might back-fire if Rory drops out next week

every year I see this event at Crans-sur-Sierre, I think how stunning the course and scenery is.

Might treat myself to a little jaunt out there one day :)

I tried to treat this as just an ordinary week, but it's tough knowing that the US field is getting whittled down each week. Looking to get the most benefit out of the tour Championship with just a field of 30 in a couple of weeks.

I have McIroy and Kaymer in a couple of my OFL teams but giving them a miss in the Scotsman / YP games as they are in the same group as Donald.

Most of my OFL teams are a 5/1 split in favour of the Deutche Bank. I do have Westie (currently T4 :) ) in my best performing OFL team. Seems strange though with no start in the US today!

Does anyone know if Westwood's score is correct? - he has a double-bogey on the second, and then two eagles on par 4s - seems a bit sus. :?

Saw him a bit last week a the Johnnie Walker, where he was 3 or 4 under at one point in the first round and managed to finnish with a 4 over 76. Let's see if he can hold on or if he get's a nose bleed being at these dizzy hieghts.

Slightly odd interview with his missus after his opening round:

I'm not sure many men would regard breaking 80 most rounds, having a million quid or so in the bank and sleeping with Di Dougherty as "dealing with constant disappointment"...

Thought I would share this, my R2D selections on the current leaderboard, just now as I'm sure it will only get worse, It usually does.

Was trying to paste it in but can't get it to do so. Anyway I have 7 of the top 13 names which I dare say most folk have at least that but I was chuffed with that. I also have another few just outside this with only two of my 15 looking like missing the cut.

Maybe he still hasn't come to terms with her dull brown hair - like me.

Yeah, but if you were used to breaking 70 it would make all the difference

Haven't watched the link yet, but isn't that what we want from sportsmen? That they aren't content to coast along on the back of a little bit of earlier success? He wants to be winning things or at least contending, not coming home every week knowing he's been sh*t at his job - again.

Bjorn is on fire. Good to see. I do love this course, though.

My aim is to play this course and Augusta before I die. Not necessarily in the same week though.
