I have no byes this year

Good news is that all 8 of my teams are in the Prof matchplay. I play Padmole in one (grudge) match :P and also fellow FISOers Knotty and Philip Howard (FISO username anyone?) in other matches.

Also play Douglas Millar (previous overall champion) in another, so not impressed with my draw this year

Starts with the WGC Bridgestone Invitational (5-8 August).

I wish someone had messed with my line-up this week, they might have brought Oosthuizen off the bench!

I have a team that scraped into each, no byes. I'll be lucky to get past the Bridgestone the way my season has been going so far!

Gonna be close Paddy, our game comes down to:

Me v You
Els v Johnson D
Moore v Goosen
Fowler v Holmes

How ironic, Hanson on the bench for me

I should be safely through with this lot :)

Mickelson
Els
D Johnson
Kuchar
McDowell
Overton

But it looks like Tony M has got the better of me (again  ) in my other team. :(

Oh dear. Well I was hammered in the Pro version, but got through in my sleeper team ready for the autumn comp.

One team was so abysmal looking and got through!

As expected, one in one out, although I won't post my so called 'better' team again. All 6 were awful on Sunday.

I was getting comfortably beat in both pro and am after day three, but a turnaround on the final round got my am team through - pro team was up against the 27th best this week who had both Palmer and O'Hair.

My opponent and I this week potentially have four in common, so it will likely be down to the remaining pair to split us.

By the way, what are the tie-break rules this year - had a quick scan and couldn't see them.

Please Note: In the event of a tie on points scored, the team that scores the most 'Finishing Position' points will be awarded the win, and if the teams are still level, 'Best Round' points are then taken into account. If there is still no way of separating the sides, then the visiting team (which has been drawn randomly) will be awarded the victory.

:D

Cheers Hottie. Just checked and I have the away draw, so that'll stop him copying me at least - as if he would want to!

Hope the poker is going better for you than I of late mate.

Congrats on your 22nd place overall by the way Horton.

If you can have a cracking USPGA a top 10 place beckons :D

Best of luck!

What new rules are they then? The rules in the event of a tie haven't changed, namely:

Most place points
Most best round points
Away team

I'm through to the last 256, Woo Hoo! Scraped home by 192-38.

This week is going to be much more difficult, only two active players to start with now that Chris Wood has withdrawn, and one of them is one of my 0.5m fillers.

Had 3 teams left this week.

Barring a Gallacher implosion, make that one. So glad I transferred in Ryan Moore to both my losing teams
