OFL have told me an app should be available before the start of the season :-) but has anyone managed to fully access (i.e. pick a team) using the website on an iPhone, iPod or iPad?

FS Record: FPL 28th 06/07; CYKI 10th 08/09; TFFO 3rd 09/10; ISO champ 06/07 & 09/10; TFF £25s 2nd and 2-foot winner 2010/11
I did transfers and subs on my iPhone a few times last season which worked reasonably well (haven't picked a team that way though but wouldn't imagine it's much more tricky)

It is possible to manage your team with an iPad but some things do not work properly. Scrolling in the player list is not possible, it just ends after 20 players or so. So you have to use filters or sorting options to be able to choose your players. When in Pitch View it's not possible to drag players from and to the pitch, so the only option is to use supersubs. But that's the only way I manage my subsitutes, so that's no problem :)
For the rest I can highly recommend an iPad to manage your teams.
I saw something regarding an app, but wasn't that for the Professional game?

Menace - on the iPhone you can scroll the player list using two fingers - I don't have an iPad but imagine it's the same?

Yes, it is the same. Shame on me for not noticing
So there are no barriers left for i-users I guess..
Now, let's wait for the app!

I was baffled by this for a while too (until I think I saw someone point out the answer on FISO!) - it's not the most obvious thing to guess!

Yes, it seems more people learned something this weekend :)

I found this on the Fantasy League Pro website:
For users of the iPhone, coming for the new season, an iPhone App that will allow you to take control of your teams and leagues on the move. Please note that the iPhone App will only be available after the start of the new season. We'll be in touch with all managers as and when it has been launched and approved by Apple.
Unfortunately the Classic version isn't mentioned..

Any word on an iDevice app for Classic?

First season with OFL as a wandering TFFO refugee...

And what do you think?

I think it's a good thing they entered the mobile platform world and made this app. A good first step and hopefully they will also create an ipad version. And compared to the mobile version they used to have, this one is much better!
