Time yet AJC! However, I find it doesn't quite hurt so much that it would have made no difference whether you had mad a certain change or not because of other events.

Regarding my teams. I am not one for "if only I had..." but my finger was hovering over the in form Stricker this week, but I already have him in my other team and try not to duplicate too much. The man is on fire and I would much rather see a Stricker or a Choi win the FedEx than a Woods or a Mickelson.

I'm looking good for a last 32 spot and with a good day tomorrow I might be close to team of the week

I am currently falling short due to Furyk's rise and Choi's fall out of the points. Looks like the decision I made to dump Cink for Allenby will be my downfall.

Good luck yourself AKNel1... looking a strong week for sure. Snedeker was certainly a great shout! :D

Do points for winning a tournament include making the cut, or is that in addition?

Oh dear, that puts me even further down then - after close of play yesterday, I am 55 v 61 down :(

Well. That is me gone after a really frustrating night. Going into the final 3 holes, I needed Furyk to drop a shot, something he hadn't done in the previous 3 rounds, and that would have given me a 2pt victory. Furyk dropped a shot on the 17th and I was whooping with joy - until he made a birdie on the 18th.... I lost 76 v 79.... putting in Allenby instead of Cink was my downfall. At least I don't have to worry about my team whilst I am on holiday now. :(

Good luck to those that made it. :D

well i made the right choice leaving Choi out. thought luck was going my way when Westwood slowed up and finished 6th.

all i need was Furyk and Snedeker to finish in the positions they were over night and Sabatini fail to break in to top 20.

in the end Sabatini finished 10th so i lost by 12 points i believe

good luck AK

Thanks toffee - just have to worry about my footy teams on holiday, now! .

Cink decision aside, it was effectively Choi that did for me in the end after he dropped out of the points.

Anyway, as others have said, good luck AK... I feel I helped to hijack your thread a little so at least you got through! Chances are we could have drawn each other in the last 32 anyway - and that wouldn't have been nice - if you draw Golf Sale >>> then it would have happened!

Into the last 32 of the Pro comp, although selling Garcia to cover my opponents' Els was a waste of a transfer in the end

Up against someone with 19 transfers left and about 1480pts overall - if he had managed his team more actively he could have been right up there. Teams are quote similar and I am at home so will have to think long and hard this week.

Don't forget that there is NO matchplay this week so it doesn't impact directly.
May mean a different match up with more euro players when it does really count

Hot damn!

I had cunningly brought 2 Euro guys off my bench to try and trick my opponent into thinking I was stupid. Which, in a roundabout way, I clearly am!

might be because both comps are not equal weighins. the USA 1 is x2

That is why you are there, and I am here! I too had better rethink putting in a couple of Europeans this week, then!

Made it through to the last 32 - playing Tassie Golfers next.

Forgot to change my team and thought I was in a 5 V 6 situation (which I was winning) only to find out there is no Matchplay this week

So, 7 transfers remaining - 5 possible weeks remaining.....

I am going to need sooooomuch help to get through this :D

OK boys,
Tassie Golfers have selected a team for this week.

Dredge (EUR)
Dougherty (EUR)
Kaymer (EUR)
McLardy (EUR)
Canonica (EUR)
Snedeker (USA)

I have 5 players available for selection - so need to make at least 1 transfer.

N. Green (USA)
Karlsson (EUR)
Derksen (EUR)
Andersen-Hed (EUR)
McGrane (EUR)

My thinking is to cover Snedeker & Dredge and leave McGrane on the bench.

However this will leave me with just 5 transfers - should I limit myself to 1, if so who comes in Dredge ?, Snedeker ? or someone else.....

hmmm, Snedeker is out - he has no active's on his bench so he'll be forced to burn a transfer.

My inclination is to sell 'cheap enabler' Van der Walt & bring in Steve Marino.

Any thoughts boys or am I drowning on my own here :D

Firstly wait and see who he brings in :D

Think you have to draft in Dredge really, playing too well to leave uncovered.

Dougherty and Kaymer your other main worries, will be surprised if McLardy and Canonica do owt.

Would try and demote McGraine if u can :?

But who to relace him with, that's the question?

Into the last 16 of Pro :o

Cheers Westwood! This was the only team I bothered to make changes for and the only one in positive points territory!

Also helped by an absent rival! Given he changed his lineup last week I suspect he was away and gambled on who would play.

Next man up has 0 transfers left. Am gutted the Viking doesn't count as he has only 1 player active and I am the away party

I'm out 26-51, amazed to have got this far - especially after a 0-0 'win' in round 2

My Pro adventure is going to end at the last 16. Up against someone with no transfers but he had a decent squad. I only had 4 trfs left so had to choose wisely.

I covered Justin Rose because of his form this season....but left Nick Dougherty open

My Westwood and Dredge angle that I already had has done nothing - and in the US I toyed with Flesch or Campbell for some momentum into the weaker fields. I picked Flesch

Absolutely gutted.
