Have set up an OFL friends and enemies league for the Fall Finish:

      Name: FISO's Fall Finish
      Pin = 314

All welcome :D

Anyone else thinking about buying some new teams for this?

If so are we still paying the original entry price (Mr Green?).

Assume there is just the £750 prize for 1st place on offer?

FS Record: Some Pro Fantasy league top 10s and a session winner. Little else.
Go on then Toffee.

I am entering Lucquin for Love as I gave up on it ages ago so it still has quite a few tranfers and Crazy Pavin which is a new team.

:)

Might enter a couple of teams tonight, but Matt (Mr Green) has e-mailed me to confirm it is the full £15 entry fee :(

Questioning whether it is worth buying new teams with only a single prize on offer albeit £750 :?:

Might enter a few more teams into FedEx Cup / Fall Series on PTFG where the prizes are less in value but go a lot deeper.

Cheers

Don't forget you can resign from a league if you want, then join this one :)

In fact, I've just whipped out the outstandingly badly performing 'Can't Drive for Toffee' out of the FISO F&E and put it in here.

As an unexpected bonus that now leaves Padmole stone cold bottom of the FISO F&E league

finding it hard to see my way to paying £15 for a team in this game next season, (did 3 this year) let alone to enter the fall finish game.

Good one to win then :0)

I do think the fall finish is a great idea but with a single £750 prize it doesnt appeal for buing new teams - It would personally have more appeal if raised to £1000 of prizes along the following line

£500
£250
£100
4-10th Free entry

By adding a chance of an opportunity to have an entry for nothing in effect if finishing top 10 then I would imagine this would be readily self financing

With winner takes all then just feel I should run with all my teams as they are (This would normally read - "all my USELESS" teams but seeing as they are all useless it doesnt need differentiation)

Toffeelover it has occurred to me that the scores of the "existing" (rather than new) teams in the Fall Finish Friends and Enemies League are not going to be set to zero as this would involve cancelling out all points accrued so far this season. This means that some teams will have an 800 point start rendering the whole thing a bit meaningless. I fear it would only work if the entire league were made up of brand new teams.

Unless that is Mr Green could use the same coding he uses for the Fall Finish overall league table to enable a Fall Finish Friends and Enemies league. As he has entered a team in the Friends and Enemies league, maybe he has this one covered. :)

Toffee will probably set up a spreasheet table showing the weekly scores and overall total from this week onwards. :)

The Polarbear is indeed correct :)

Going to be a pretty small spreadsheet by the look of it!

Can accept entries up to Sunday night though, so keep 'em coming!

We are still eligible for the 100 bucks weekly prizes aren't we, and surely got more chance of that than the season-long teams, so not soo bad.

FallingOnMyBackside is pending.

Pitty I didn't decided to enter Man United's #5 Fan (82 points!).

Not sure whether to start burning up the 30 transfers this week or not, I guess should be saving them for the later tournaments :?

A good start for sure Colin, but alas there's only one way to go from there.........especially as you have no transfers left

No transfers this week in either of my two Fall Finish teams (so still 30 left to use up in the next fifteen weeks )

Tough decisions this week...

The PGA field is packed like a major.

The Euro field is weaker but no stand outs.

I thought that there were a few stand outs for Europe - Dyson A Hansen R Fisher D Mcgrane (Personal favourite so bias) Finch Jm SIngh.

Just shows I know nothing as usual

Thought it harder to pick players in states so went 50/50 and now going to have 50% missing cut in all likelihood. Not a decisive week I would imagine - it is when the field gets condensed and you get the wrongbreaks that the big points get dispersed???? Come on Mr McGrane!!!!

Interesting to see you have to go down to 17th in the Fall Finish top 100 before you find a team entered specifically for the Fall Finish.

So can a season long team win this?

Can't remember what happened last year, anyone know/remember?
