He liked Augusta last year, didn't he? Not in the best of form though. You should be fine

4 teams this season... Hope I don't regret not getting 6 or 8

No reserves on the driving range for me this week... But nobody will WD before teeing off, so no problems there.

Sorry just changed computer not got your e-mail address stored, so thought this easiest way to contact you.

I only realised when I logged in at about 10.45pm last night to make the changes. When I finally decided what to do, YE Yang had a big exclamation mark next to him and then I realised my error. Yang was of course going to stay, but I would have liked Kim in there, but he was struggling when I left for work this morning. Just about all my eggs in the USA basket this week. Ironically, my mothballed team had a starting 6 anyway.

Where's that then :?

I did squeeze a few into the top 100 for the week, which is an achievement for me this year

Still, mustn't be too pesimistic, all of my teams moved in the right direction this week :) , and I've got 3 in the top 400 now  :D

    249 Red Lawrie, Yellow Lawrie
302 Here comes the Crane again
    373 Toffeelover
    567 Toffee Love III
    611 Well wide of DiMarco
640 De Jonge and short of it
    1178 Nil Satis Nisi Optimum
    1649 ToffeeGlover

......but alas I've almost used as many transfers as Kdub :(

Need a miracle!

My efforts arent any better really

137 Padmole Goosen around patrick mulhall 522
276 Bonkers in Bunkers !! patrick mulhall 474
320 Pads Rod Challenge patrick mulhall 467
323 PadMole Friendly Challenge patrick mulhall 466
351 Westwood be Kaymer Man patrick mulhall 460
420 Lampard is a Must patrick mulhall 447

Annoyingly average across the board where one week one does ok and the next the other does!

Have used most transfers in The Fridnly Golfer team due to pressure of not wanting to look really useless (9 used!).

Only 3-6 in others

Even Helens teams are doing similarly. You would think they were similar teams but they vary quite dramatically!

318 Fake Tan Helen Mulhall 467
380 Alter boy Ego Helen Mulhall 455

Just got to hope to push on with 3 or 4 of them up until the Open and have a couple sneak into the top 100 before then so that we are in with a shout of a push during the 2nd half of the season.

Notable absence of many of the usual suspects near the top at the moment and most have used around 10 transfers so we will see how it pans out but it still feels that there is no need to panic too much until post The Open............Then I will need to go extreme!!!

Similar story for me :

297th Man United's #1 Fan 471
456th Man United's #3 Fan 441
518th Man United's #2 Fan 428
575th Man United's #4 Fan 418
757th Man United's #8 Fan 388
775th Man United's #6 Fan 387
1602nd Man United's #5 Fan 261
1719th Man United's #7 Fan 233

Need a big US Open, like the top 6 , otherwise the season will be more or less over :(

Seem to be far better (or should that be luckier) at Pro Tour this season!

Man United's #1 Fan

OFL comp is and always will be my favourite, I am delighted to currently have one team in top 100 - other two teams already lagging behind even a chance of top 100:

40th Exonian Big Easy III 586 (Tfrs left 22)
963rd Exonian Big Easy 358 22
1513rd Exonian Big Easy II 276 23

Had S Khan in teams but was spooked by the lack of bookies offering odds on him pre-tournie. Benched. Ho hum - enjoying the perplexity of the game anyway

Other than one team, I'm faring no better than mediocre...and also used more transfers than most in order to get decent looking line-ups in the two double-weighted events (which has back-fired big time!)

Firing Blanks - 25th (17)
O'Hair and the Tortoise - 176th (20)
Westwood Ho! - 499th (20)
The Moore, The Merrier - 521st (21)

Have high hopes for the US Open, though - the only problem being is that the players I fancy to do well at Pebble Beach are different to those I think will do well at St Andrews!

I don't know if there is a thread full of congratulations already somewhere (can't see one anyway), but in case not, I've just noticed an obscure little message on the 'tournaments' page that Mrs Green is expecting a baby in the late summer. Congratulations to both of you, and hope it arrives at a convenient time in the busy golf schedule.

Cheers, Doogal. We'll certainly have our work cut out (we already have a 15 month old daughter), so I hope that the promptness of Fantasy League Golf updates doesn't suffer too much as a result.

I guess I should also post the news to the FISO Maternity Ward thread...

Woods playing and in only 3.79% of teams. This must be a record. Are 96.21% of us about to look stupid for doubting?

Maybe not this week. Real test will be the US Open - bringing him back will likely entail massive changes for most teams which will profoundly affect strategy. And this season, you can own Els & Westwood together for 0.1m more and both are performing. Previously the inconsistency of the really big names helped the Woods camp.

Now I've justified a U-turn on my post a while back suggesting he was about to rip the Tour up, I'm away to work out who to sell (on top of Soren Hansen, that is).

I tried, but my plan of only making changes which would allow me to drop him in whenever needed hasn't worked, and I am too stupid to work out how to get him back in. He has had his day, anyway. Trust me.

Thanks for the rapid update Mr G.

Pleased to pick up 7th and 11th in the weekly :D

7th placed one would have been even better if I hadn't benched Fowler

The usual suspects starting to fill the higher echelons - Well done Tony on your rise.
Still havent managed to get into the top 100 with best 2 in 111 and 123
I do have one super team 1823rd that has had 6 starters each week!

That team for this week is:-

Ames
Dredge
Overton
Garrido
Fraser
Hutsby

So this is early warning on whom NOT to chose for this week!
