Thought I'd raise this as I know miles t is far too modest too..... :wink:

Congrats miles on topping the premium monthly so far.......you are having an exceptional season all round so far....well done! 8-)
There are a few fisoers up there in the mix so far including myself, mad dog and superior.

Teams up there are mainly Arsenal based blocks - may seem early days to start thinking about prizes, however, with the International break there are only 3 more games this month and Arsenal have home games against Fulham and Dortmund finishing up with Wigan away, so surely a great chance this month for these Arsenal blocks to last the pace.
What does everyone reckon?

I only spotted how well I was doing about a week ago having taken no real interest in the monthlies. Of course any success is going to be a bit of a lottery but it's adding a touch of excitement to the competition.

The team selection was a fluke really and followed on from a hint from footy66 when he grumbled that his season was over and he was arranging transfers so that he could concentrate on the weekend dreamteam. (Cheers footy :D )

So, at the second transfer window I selected my 4 worst-performing teams which just happened to have an Arsenal bias (hence their poor performance!), and I slapped in a few more Arsenal players (sh*t or bust mentality.)

Incase anybody missed this result over the weekend.

Saturday 19 November
Bayern Munich 0 v 1 Borussia Dortmund 1

Gotze 65

Attend: 69000 Half-time: 0-0

================

CURRENT TABLE

German Bundesliga
Team P W D L F A Pts
Bayern Munich 13 9 1 3 32 5 28
Borussia Dortmund 13 8 2 3 27 9 26

================

I think in all honesty with Arsenal having a joke defence that it would be a travesty that anyone won a monthly based on their defence.

I cannot see how Dortmund will not only score but win tomorrow night.

Huddersfield give "Gate" figures on the day including all season ticket holders whether they turn up or not + paying fans then on the Monday release the actual attendance which is generally about 15% lower. All clubs should release actual attendances none of this "gate" nonsense.

I'm doing crap this month btw :evil:

The biggest joke in the Arsenal game tonight has to be when the ist german defender went off and the twit commentating said another SOLD OUT full house at the library tonight.
WHEN THE TRUTH IS PLAIN FOR ALL TO SEE THERES THOUSANDS OF EMPTY SEATS ALL OVER THE GROUND
SWARTHS OF THEM.

MORE LIKE THIS PIC.

Image

try telling me that they sold the seat but still 10,000 people dont trun up.

The second biggest joke was the same dickhead commentator saying the Arsenal crowd now beginning to get behind the team

ITS THE 7,000 DORTMUND FANS SINGING YOU twit!.
