Having entered 61 teams and nothing really firing atm in the seasonal department I decided to enter 12 teams aimed at December just to see if there was any sort of edge to be gained over the thousands of teams already in the game.

Interestingly, and this may just reflect the poor state of affairs my seasonal teams are in , all of my December entries are my highest scoring teams this month bar 1.

My lowest December effort is on 111 with my highest on 147 (used a pretty tight pool of players), the leader is on 180 in the premium table.

Probably still not got much chance but it does show that there is every chance you could actually get closer to a winning score with new teams entered on a monthly basis rather than relying on seasonal efforts


IF the cheque payments get sorted I may have a serious go at this in the new year

probably right Dot, plenty of time yet for a recovery although I was hoping after the last window I would be closer to your teams by now.

December is a funny month, games could be lost, sicknotes rested and tired players getting a few goals put past them !
The monthly & seasonal will get swung around this month.

January won't be a good time to focus on Monthlies anyway seeing as everyone will be set up for the next round of fixtures, Monthlies need to be taken advantage of just before a transfer window, ideally when a key player or 2 gets injured, ie. Van Persie
