Thoughts, feedback, suggestions etc on the new Footballer pages that have been added to fiso today. They effectively are pre-set forum searches for each EPL footballer to give you an easy way to view the latest forum discussions where the footballer is mentioned.

The new pages can be accessed from the first drop-down option under 'fantasy Football' on the top menu bar or:
http://www.fiso.co.uk/footballers.php

From there is a full list of EPL Footballers which can be sorted in club, position and alphabetical order. If you click on a player's name you access the page for that player. For example, the individual page for Arsenal's Johan Djourou:

Will it pick up spelling errors on difficult names - for example Wojciek Szesczeny [sp](Arsenal's GK if you're not sure )

This is a useful addition, thanks. I think this is particularly useful for picking up info on players from forums I hide in games I don't play - such as FPL. Might stop the odd thread or two when a big player gets injured!

Honestly it took me longer to find a random player (in my case i went for Nani) than it would to use the search button and type the name in and so in future i will continue to use the search function personally.

My main concern would be the common use of nicknames. Some players are rarely called by their proper names

Please add nicknames and common misspellings to:
list-of-footballer-nicknames-common-misspellings-t84526.html

and then we'll add them into the pre-set searches so that each Footballer's page will display posts where either their name or nickname/misspelling appears.
