My money league opponent (a fair whack of dosh) is 57 points behind me. He was 130 points behind me but a combination of Sessegnon and some really awful weeks from myself have contributed to his comeback. He already used his WC and currently has [with 3mn more team value than me]:
Lindegaard,Vorm,Evans,Skrtel,Senderos,BAE,Simpson,Demps,Valenc,Sess,Bale,Gerrard (who I think will be Silva this GW),Agbon,Sturridge, rvp. I have my last WC active this week. What is the best way to combat his team and win!?

I am currently going with: (0.1 in the bank)
Krul,Mignolet,Evans,Simpson,Caulker,Kompany,S.Kelly,Bale,Valencia,Demps,McClean,Silva,RVP,Aguero,Graham. I'm sure he'll ship Agbon out for maybe Ba soon. I just feel that he's now really catching when I thought it was done and dusted 10 weeks ago...

Thanks in advance and apologies for the poor team formats above (absence of time currently). I am not looking for magical formula here, just opinions about his team value, strength of his squad compared to what I can muster and my chances of therefore beating him with the team above! I 'don't mind' doom-laden comments either.

IMHO... (which is not worth much this season) you should do the following;

Kompany Richards

You need to figure out how to bring Ba or (QPR's) Cisse in, instead of Graham.
You'll need to downgrade Krul ( Sorensen/Lindegaard) and/or lose the MCI defender with kompany Santon.
These two moves could allow to get one of the better strikers in.

Kompany Santon
Krul Sorensen
Graham Ba/Cisse

Or, seeing as I get nothing right this season... someone else can make a better suggestion.

Thanks I do agree with the Cisse/Ba thing (well Cisse now, Ba in 2 weeks) but not the method of getting there! I'd be much more willing to sacrifice Bale or Valencia under the circumstances and replace one of them with Sessegnon; or even taken a punt on Dzeko over Aguero for 2 weeks before changing him for Ba??

Hmm it appears the team I suggested is going to be 15 points ahead of the cisse'd team I entered. Graham instead of Cisse would have been nice with McLean in the 11, d'oh!!
