Would have been a good shout but decided there'll be better opportunities than a game against Citeh. This does seem a very sensible transfer though. Obvious even :-s

Yeah bit of tinkering here and there. With 4-for-2s off of Man U players yesterday and 4-for-1s today I couldn't resist. Think I put Larsson into this team rather than Sesseggnog though.

Will confirm sometime soon.

Another catch up - week 23 saw me get 40 points without really setting the world alight.

Week 24 saw the second Dempsey hat-trick to help another good climb up the table with 39 points

Week 25 was quieter but thinner scoring all round meant no real position change with 32 points.

Week 26 had Nani leaving due to illness and giving a 4-for-2 fixture move. I ran out with patience with Adam as well replacing him with Bale. 35 points so far.

That team was identical to one of my most important ones until I swapped Adebayor for Sessegnon for the extra and easier run of games.

I also have 18 left and was thinking maybe a switch to a Liverpool block defence at some point (they have an easy run in) hopefully when they have a few extra games due to the cup.

This week I was working on a daisy chaining fixture spotter so will be able to answer that question after consulting the god Exceliamus.

As for a Liverpool block I just don't see the close of their season going all Man City on us. As a fan I'd love it but I just doubt it.

Chasing two cups and an outside shot at euro qualification through the league. I sense some future Rafa-tation. Not a strong opportunity in my opinion.

Not planning any at the moment as not really liking the options. Warnock isn't great but who's there to get. For the sake of an extra point a week at most I can't really be bothered to change. I might change Ade were he not still in the cup.

Week 26 ended with a 72 point match set (RvP 23, Aguero 13, Mata 10) giving me 107 for the week and a move up to 30,921nd place

Week 27 saw 51 points and a move up of 4,000 places or so.

Week 28 (FA Cup week) saw only 11 points saw back down the table again

Ahead of you on that one. After posting I did Richards out for Jones. Wasn't wholly convinced he'll play but got a transfer to burn if need be.

Was on board the 3-for-0 here with van der Vaart and Defoe (I think - could have been Saha - will confirm later)

About this time every season I end up tinkering rather than posting. Better catch up later!

Right then. Let's try and re-cap ten or so weeks of TFF gubbins in a post or two. Simples....

Week 29 - 58 points. Awesome week. Ade, RVP, Warnock, Silva, Aguero, Hart - all of those cleared 6pts+. Very happy with that.

Week 30 - Silva & Aguero out for van der Vaart and Saha. Some tactical stuff going on here. Fairly pointless as we were soon to discover. RVP and Dempsey made the score respectable.

Week 31 - 69 pts - Bale and Ade did ok in their extra game. RVP and good defensive points towards the end of the week. Up to 15,013 position. VdV and Silva back in again.

Week 32 - must've been an FA Cup week. 7 points from just 2 players playing. Very poor.

Week 33 - another poor score - 43 from a double week sees me down to 26,239 position. Nothing exciting happening at all here.

Week 34 - the quiet first half of the week sees Bale score but 51 in the second half from Ade, Sess and Dempsey sees the team climb a little to 23,494. Aguero out again for Rooney with Sess coming in for Silva.

Week 35 - another 69 point week. Good points across the board apart from the disappointing Sessegnon, Ade and Bale.

Week 36 - Injury sees Ade replaced by Aguero. Couldn't be better timed with his 33 point week. Rooney, RVP and Mata all into double figures. 51+37=88 points and a climb to 15,161 position.

Week 37 - itchy trigger syndrome sets in and Walker leaves to be replaced by Enrique. Aguero and Rooney do enough to ensure another climb - now to 13,005 position.

Week 38 (so far) - had decided to burn a couple of transfers on Bolton players on the 2-for-0. Ngog and Eagles come in for Rooney and Bale and get in among the points. Warnock also on the scoresheet for once. 18 points and currently standing on 1,613 and 9,400th position.

Next big transfer move is tomorrow night. Planning to set team up for essentially the rest of the season.

Week 38 ended with a mammoth 88 pts to move up to 6,298th place. Transfer details to follow.

Lots of fixture based tinkering though!
