This morning, after driving for 29 years, and having never had a bump or speeding ticket or parking ticket, I had my first 'crash'.

I was hit by a police car that didn't see me as it came out of a side-road. What are the chances of that, I'm special me. 8-)

29 years without a rest. I am amazed you haven't had an incident before now. Was the copper on his mobile phone or eating a sandwich? Throw the book at him! Hope you are OK though.

He got breathalized (as did I) but both were Zero. I put it down to the new 'cloaking' device I've been trailing, turns the Spencer-mobile into a near invisible cat car:

Assuming that your car is not painted with stuff that they put on Stealth Bombers how can anyone not see you if they were looking properly. Don't rest until the cop is properly disciplined and has his licence endorsed.

I was a bit alarmed when I saw the thread title.

My first thought was that I should have sent you a cheque for my £10 entry fee into the TFF-FPL combo,as I could've stopped payment, instead of which I'd paid by bank transfer, and before I pressed "confirm" I was warned that I couldn't cancel after doing so.

So I'm glad you survived,as it's saved me a lot of hassle with my bank.

You should've taken his ticket book, and issued him with a reckless driving ticket!!

Glad it wasn't harmful.

Have to say that the Sussex police insurance people were fantastic in getting the whole thing sorted. Basically got all the damage and extras done without a question. They couldn't have been more helpful, and were actually 'human' in their communications. Unlike my insurance company Swift cover, who were as unhelpful as possible.
