Yup, I'm pretty sure you must have players for the second half of the season. In fact, I'm not even sure how you would remove players from your team without replacing them.

FS Record: Won a couple of TFF prizes in my day
I honestly can't think of many must haves beyond Kompany, who i think will finish as easily the highest scoring defender.

RVP is very highly priced now and like any striker is going to be prone to dips in form. I could easily see myself droppng him for the likes of Aguero or Rooney at some point.

Bale and Adebayor are very strong candidates - both playing well for a team on the rise, both are still reasonably priced and neither are likely to be rested or rotated much as Spurs push to challenge at the top of the table.

Silva is a must have based on his first half of the year performance, but he's tailed off a little recently so I think his price has maxed out now and he remains a strong rather than must have pick.

Also worth remembering that peoples views on this change constantly as the season progresses. Ashley Young and Rooney were the ones everyone wanted near the start of the campaign, not to mention Mr N'Zogbia before the season started. Interestingly though I think Victor Moses is one who's about to come back into fashion (he's due to come back into my team shortly anyway).

Not must haves, but players who I beleive have the potential to score well in the second half of the season

Baines 7.7m - Everton have the least shots on target against them so far this season and somehow only managed 4 CS. Due a few more and if he starts getting goals/assists could be one to watch.

Shawcross 5.1m - Stoke are having a good season and he always picks up a few CS. Gets some bonus too and at 5.1m could be a good option for the latter half of the season.

Dempsey 8.5m - Slow start but found form recently and is up there with the top mids. Does pretty every year, solid pick.

Sessegnon 6.3m - Sunderland are improving under MON and he has been playing well recently. Given a more attacking role and little risk of rotation as he is probably their best attacking player at the moment.

Gerrard 10.5m - Looked good against Newcastle and given Liverpools lack of goals he may be played in a more advanced role alongside the striker as we have seen in the past. Also on set-peices.

Aguero 11.1m - Great start to the season, slowed down a little but has done okay again recently. Seems to have benefited from Man City's CL exit... completing 90 minutes on 2 occasions since. Full of ability and has the potential to score big in any gameweek.

Valencia 8.0m - Always done well. On great form recently and looks like he could keep his position throughout the season. If he can he is well worth the investment.

Gerrard is an interesting one and I've put him in, Suarez will be taking a little rest soon so he won't get in his way, Liverpool will go back to being the Steven Gerrard show no doubt as the rest of them are toilet.

I'm putting Gerrard in too.

At 10.5 he could be a steal

Mario Balotelli is a potentially superb differential imo. With Dzeko's dip in form, he's likely to play most games.

8.1 looks a steal to me.

Not really a "must have" but Taarabt when he returns from the ANC, has been looking really sharp last couple of weeks.

Anyone know much about Clark at Villa? He has played full 90 mins in last 4 games but seems to be playing more of a holding midfield roll. At 4.7 he could be a steal if he continues that roll. Obviously im looking at midfielders listed as defenders. Other than Jones, Shotton and maybe this guy Clark is there anymore?

Johnny Heitinga
Armand Traore
Steven Ward (sometimes)

Be careful with Clark, didn't play great at the weekend and could be under threat when the likes of Delph comes back.

The core of my team will remain.

Gerrard will be my main consideration going forward. Will be looking to squeeze Aguero back in at some point aswell.

Mario is more of a time-bomb, than a differential

I thought Taarabt was being sold in January.

He's dreaming of a move to PSG which just isn't going to happen imo.
