]Welcome to the 19th and Final Round of murf enterprises' 2011 Formula 1 predictions game

Yep, thats it. after sunday it is game over and we will have a winner (well 3 - the main table, form guide and FlyAway Cup). Well thats the plan, I am playing catch up with results and have a gap for rounds 14-16. Hopefully by sunday.

As a final round treat, you can have a lie in and we'll go with a late deadline of 4pm saturday.

Each race will be a separate competition where the winner gets 25 points towards the season competition, second 18, third 12, down to 1 for 10th just like the real thing.
Everybody is welcome to have a go. All you have to do is predict the top 10 finishers and you score points depending on how accurate you are. Best man wins. Full points details etc in the Series thread.

As well as the main championship, we will again be tallying total scores over all 19 races for the Form Crown and having 2 sidecomps.
Simple picking rules
- pick your top 10
- stick to the template
- use driver surnames only
- No witty comments / smileys on the predictions lines as these are copied directly into the spreadsheet
- use the correct spelling

IF I spot your mistake I will give you a nod to change it. Yellow card system - just one warning/nod each. The spreadsheet has been refined since last year so badly spelt picks will get 0 points.

DEADLINE / TIMETABLE
Entries must be in by start time of first qualifying session - see below. Edits and tweaks allowed until that final deadline.
Friday 25 November: Practice one - 1200-1330; Practice two - 1600-1730
Saturday 26 November: Practice three - 1300-1400; DEADLINE = Qualifying - 1600-1700
Sunday 27 November: Race - 1600

A poor final race from me.

RESULTS

Arabian Knight correctly predicted the Red Bull fix for Webber to get a token victory and so gets an honourable one himself. bluenosey, like many, thought it would be Hamilton that would pip Vettel but still appreciated those 25 pts for Seb in securing 2nd. I got third on the tie-break despite predicting a Vettel victory. Not bad to stand on the podium as I was only 9 points off last!

Perhaps reduce the admin by running the comp over the BBC reduced list of 'live' GPs instead? Maybe that is just confusing....

Thanks for running this again Murf and apologies for dipping out after Monza, had too many other things going on.

Found another very interesting free game on an F1 forum this year and ended up 7th of 50th despite giving up on that one after Monza too. I wouldn't want to be encouraging anyone to join another forum 'ahem', but you'll need to sign up in order to play next season. A site frequented by some serious F1 tech heads but a good forum anyway with definitive overtaking stats as used by the teams themselves.
