Welcome to Round 18 of murf enterprises's 2010 Formula 1 predictions game.

More foreign travel but at least this time they are heading to sensible time zones where they don't race in the middle of the night - just when Liverpool are playing Chelsea instead. Dumb or what.....

New entries always welcome, all you have to do is predict the top 10 finishers and you score points depending on how accurate you are. Full points details etc in the Round 1 thread

Simple picking rules
- stick to the template
- use driver surnames only
- No witty comments / smileys on the predictions lines as these are copied directly into the spreadsheet
- use the correct spelling

BBC Driver List
(don't ask me who will be driving for Hispania - if you are mad enough to pick them then you deserve having to do the research)

Please double check your spelling and remove comments or the automated spreadsheet WILL steal your points!
IF I spot your mistake I will give you a nod to change it. Yellow card system - just one warning/nod each. The spreadsheet has been refined since last year so badly spelled picks will get 0 points.

DEADLINE
Entries must be in by start time of first qualifying session - see below

TIMETABLE
Fri 5 Nov: Practice 1 1200-1330; Practice 2 1600-1730
Sat 6 Nov: Practice 3 1300-1400; Qualifying 1600 - DEADLINE
Sun 7 Nov: Race 1600

HOW THE FISO COMP POINTS WORK
The best score in each round will 'win' the Grand Prix and get glory and 25 points then 18-15-12-10-8-6-4-2-1 just like the real thing.

I will also tally everybody's total points scored during the rounds as the 'form guide' secondary comp.

FIVE-WAY TITLE BATTLE EXPLAINED
1 ALONSO 231pts
2 WEBBER 220pts
3 HAMILTON 210pts
4 VETTEL 206pts
5 BUTTON 189pts
-If Alonso wins in Brazil, he will be champion unless Webber is higher than fourth
-If Alonso is second, he will be champion unless Webber is higher than eighth, Hamilton higher than fourth or Vettel wins
-If Alonso is third, he will be champion unless Webber finishes in the top 10, Hamilton in the top four and Vettel in the top three
-If Alonso does not finish on the podium, it will go to Abu Dhabi
-Button can only stay in contention if he finishes first or second but is out if Alonso finishes in the top six or if Webber is in the top two
-Vettel must beat Alonso on track to stay in contention

Similarly...
eagle224 is champion if....
- he wins
- he comes 2nd and greenman doesn't finish top 4, Darbyand doesn't finish top 3, none of bluenosey, Surprised or Arabian Knight win
- if he comes 3rd, 4th, 5th or 6th (all very complicated, dependent on others!)
- murf is definitely out of contention if he doesn't come top 2

So nobody is picking Hulkenberg to win then? Or come 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th, 8th, 9th.....

shaggy has him in 10th. That'll be 1 point then if it stays in grid order......

It's going to make an interesting start. I suspect the Red Bulls will storm past him but can forsee one of the front runners being taken out in the first corners as the top five try to get the jump on him and each other.

This is going to the last race of the season - Darbyand has a good score and a few others also have the top 5 spot on.

Think the ties rule book be coming out for this one? Only difference I can see in mine and Arabian knight is Barrichello and Heidfeld.

14th v 17th! What a way to decide a tie.

I'm hoping to do the scores today, time permitting. Think I've done quite well but probably not enough to keep my slim title hopes alive.
