Welcome to 'BetChuck' a fantasy betting ring devised solely for the Movies World Cup.

Those that wish to participate are welcome to do so here on this thread.

Instructions are simple

1.You have an Imaginary $20 to bet on whatever takes your fancy in the betting ring.

2.Place bets by simply posting publically on the thread in the following format.

3.BET - win or eachway bets only (no forecast/accumulator etc betting) can be made where advertised and any amount of bets can be made on any amount of markets.

4.ODDS - odds of any current betting activity will be posted both in the original betting ring post just under this post and a new post will be opened when any odds are changed so odds can be double checked from posters listed odds to the previous posted betting ring.

5.STAKE - Minimum $1, Maximum $current balance, stakes must be devisible by $1 (no pence/cents) - this includes each way bets.

6.Bets can be placed at anytime up until BetChucks discretion.

7.BetChucks decision is final.

8.First bet must be made before World Cup starts (last 64) due to outsiders betting once WC has started to gain an unfair balance advantage - feel free to make a $1 early bet just to confirm your entry

9.PRIZE - on who finishes with most money/profit - Bragging rights!!

Sci fi and animation films now added to the outright winner odds

Historical, musicals, chick flicks, sport, action and biographicals have now all been added, its starting to look tasty now, but I suggest you hold fire until bazzas specials enter the competition, they may not have got into the last 64 on their first attempt but there's gonna be a strong lot of films for the last 4 places

The first faller in the Movie World Cup betting game is 7lb claimer that wrongly predicted Goodfellas to win the Gangster category even at odds of 5/6! Unlucky claimer!

Winning genre book added, favourite is currently bazza's special for obvious reasons that the strength of those films that get through it is unknown, next favourite is gangster followed closely by childrens and thriller
