Reading the first hand accounts in the paper today, most say a thick cloud of fog just appeared across the motorway, making visibility zero.
I guess two vehicles collided inside this and everything else piled into them as nobody could see
I've driven through fog like that myself and it's bloody scary

Heres what i think happened, the fog/smoke came out of nowhere so drivers suddenly slowed/braked cos they couldn't see infront of them, then other cars followed suit and pile/crash began.

Drove on the M4 on Friday with rain and fog patches. Nutter passed me doing 90 + in the fast lane

I have driven in thick fog and it is scary how many people don't use lights or fog lights or even reduce speed dramatically.

And yet, most numpties will have their fog lights on all day every day driving around town in perfect visibility

thing is, I always remember a stat that 70 per cent of us think we are 'above average' drivers - which obviously doesn't compute....

Some of you lane hogs are just SO bad you drag the average down so most of us are above it.
