Don't normally take that much interest in this game so not sure about the month rules. Anyone know if they stick to a strict month or are they more like TFF where it could start or finish anywhere around the end of the month. It's not too clear on the web-site.

Quote:
15. The Monthly Prize will be awarded to the Player who according to the Premier League's determination is at the top of the monthly leaderboard published by the Premier League at the end of each monthly period during the season. The exact timing of this is at the discretion of the Premier League.

As I see it this could mean it finishes after 22nd and then the next week is part of February, or it could finish on the 31st (although this is probably unlikely given the wording), or it could finish after the matches on the 1st.

Sitting in 50th for the month with my wild-card to play knowing when it ends is pretty crucial. Sure, still a massive long shot given the amount of people playing, but worth putting a little bit of thought into it to make it a bit more interesting.

It finishes after the matches on the 1st.

The points scored in a gameweek go towards the month in which the gameweek began :)

My proudest FPL moment was last february....was 2nd in the world for the month going into the final GW of the month.

Ended up 8th overall - was delighted at even getting that close though. Good Luck OP - you are having a great month so keep it up. :D

Just realised my Forest Badgers are in 11th place and still have 2 wildcards to use.

Might be tempted to use 1 for each of the next 2 GWs and see what happens.

You will pick a fantastic team, and it will not perform. It is the law of sod.

You are probably right, but still worth a shot when you are this close sdhough, it's so rare to be anywhere near a prize in this comp. Good luck.

February was a great month for me as well. Finished around 250th i think. I remember Huth being on fire around that period.

37 points so far, not too bad. Shame about the missed pens for Walters and Helguson. :(

Silva (c) and Aguero to go.

Yes nice going sdhough up to 4th.

I completely messed it up, toyed with Dempsey twice left Sessingion in the bench, because i respected the defences of Newcastle & Swansea, and thought Liverpool, Everton & Fulham would get clean sheets. .
