Just wondered if Modric left Spurs what sort of player would replace him ? - Spurs seem to rate him as their equilavent of a Silva/Nasri/Fab or have I got that wrong ?
Whenever I see him play he seems to play deep and getting goals/assists doesnt seem to be part of his role!

Yep, he worth for them like those players in their teams.

He's one of those players who is worth his weight in gold in reality but won't get loads of TFF points, as a lot of the good work he does (linking-up play, retaining the ball in tight areas, starting attacks but not necessarily getting KCs, etc.) doesn't get rewarded in TFF. I'm a Spurs fan and rate him very highly but wouldn't pick him in TFF for this reason. He'll get a moderate amount of assists and the odd goal but that's about it - he plays too deep in midfield to score highly in attacking points.
