A little game to generate excitement now that we're all anxiously awaiting the Race to Dubai and the start of next season. Winner of the 2nd Annual World Cup Head-to-Head competition will receive:

1st Prize - An Autographed hat signed by your choice of Steve Stricker (No. 5 world ranking), Dustin Johnson (No. 6), Jason Day (No. 7), Matt Kuchar (No. 8), Nick Watney (No. 11), Webb Simpson (No. 13), Bubba Watson (No. 15), K.J. Choi (No. 16), David Toms (No. 18), Paul Casey (No. 20), Hunter Mahan (No. 23), Jim Furyk (No. 24), Brandt Snedeker (No. 25), Keegan Bradley (No. 28), Martin Laird (No. 31), Zach Johnson (No. 33).

Grand Prize - If anyone gets a perfect record of 14 out of 14, they will get a Lee Westwood autographed ProV1 ball.

Some of these matches have a 'real' WORLD CUP kind of sound to them... Some real rivalries on grass. (putting greens)

In the event of a tie, whoever chooses the winning country shall prevail. Good Luck!

Keep the picks coming... Hope to have a ToffeeGlover table once the tournament starts

On Dec 1-4, I'll be at the Chevron Challenge in Thousand Oaks... Hoping to acquire my first signature from TW.

My second task will be acquiring the winner's hat... Good luck to all!

I've attended 4 Mission Hills World Cups... This year is the best field of players since the Tiger Woods era when he used to play here with David Duval

I hope this event becomes more serious with the Olympics on the horizon. It's great for individual countries to compete more often in the future.

Here's my team of Kdub's Mission Hills Explorers

Guatemala VS Mexico
Brazil VS Portugal
New Zealand VS Austria
Singapore VS Korea
Belgium VS Zimbabwe
China VS Columbia
Japan VS Thailand
Australia VS France
Denmark VS Holland
Wales VS Scotland
Spain VS Germany
England VS USA
Sweden VS Italy
Ireland VS South Africa

Tie Breaker _____South Africa______

KJ Choi has a 'special' looking autograph in Korean
Furyk has a nice one
I'm curious to see Jason Day because he's projected as a top 5 player
Webb Simpson and Keegan Bradley are supposed to be the future of US golf
Last season only a few chose McIlroy or Kaymer when they were available for signing...

Kdub, you'll have to remain curious about Jason Day, he's not playing in the world cup. In fact the Australia team looks pretty rubbish to me when you consider they could have drawn on him, Scott or Ogilvy.

Also you haven't told us which hat you want!!

I'm not in China this time around :|

I'm in the US and will be attending the Tiger Woods Chevron Challenge in two weeks. So yes, Jason Day is available.

I won't be competing for the 1st prize... But my choice would be KJ Choi because his signature is immaculate. I'm kind of surprised nobody picked the Mahan to beat

I guess the man with the most potential could be Webb Simpson
