Mini-Leagues made up of your own five sides are no longer eligible for the mini-league prize.

I noticed several leagues, including my own, had disappeared from the leaderboard in the last few days. I contacted them and they confirmed a mini-league must contain five different people to be valid.

A quick check of the mini-league section showed "If you're acting as Chairman, get all your mates to join you by using our 'Mail My Mates' facility (you'll need a minimum of 5 people to create a valid Mini League but there's no upper limit)."

I read through the rules at the start of the season and I'm 99% sure it didn't say that and that they've changed the wording, and rule, partway through :?

Am i right in saying there's only 1 mini league prize (highest ave scoring league at the end of season).. ?

I was going to do some teams with mates and make like 5 or so mini leagues.. but it's not worth it as far as i can tell.

(As for the 5 diff people rule not sure if that was there or not tbh)

Did everyone else already know about this then? :?

I think it's likely that only those like yourself with high flying Mini-Leagues will have noticed Art.

I think they'll lose a lot of entrants next season unless they introduce auto-subs, which is unlikely as website hits are doubtless one of their key criteria.

For most who don't work in offices/factories where it's easy to set up such ML's, it's too much hassle to find 4 others to join

I think the mini league is excellent for head to head comps with mates etc and you had the added bonus of maybe doing well nationally.

Shame about this though, although I can understand why they've done it.

I'm up for joining any mini leagues to make up the numbers especially if they have legends like the likes of Art, Frankie and Inglebongas :D
