Never had a Mazda before, so don't know a lot about them.

Anyone got much experience with them? I have been offered a Mazda 6 (06 plate) plate for £3,000. Worth closer to £4,000, so it's a good deal. Would mean selling my beloved Jeep Cherokee , but it's about time i went for something newer, and more reliable.

Anyone...?

Used to own a Mazda 323.
never broke down ever and flew through all MOT's.
Only got rid of it because it was wrote off in a accident.

Just given back my 08 plate Mazda 6 (keep company cars for 3 years), Ton.

Having previously had a 3 series BMW and Audi A3, needed something larger to cart the 2 young kids round in with all their kit for the last 3 years. Was a good offer on the Mazda 6 so went with it.

It was absolutely superb. Ran like a dream, extremely spacious and comfortable etc. Nice car. Bit slow on the acceleration, as v heavy as so big etc (10.6s for 0-62) but good for long motorway drives with work and to see rellies etc. Depends what you need it for I guess.

I had the TS2 which was more than adequately specced. The 08 was the "new" shape so an 06 will be slightly different to mine but not too much.
