God, I hope so. Was starting to lose patience with his lack of goals as a striking midfielder. Didn't see the game (I was Xmas shopping in Brum - mad place to go at Xmas time) but I'm hoping for a Starman.

Will watch MOTD tonight.

Should be star man. Krul might have nicked it, but he conceded 3 (and it was more down to Sturridge's poor finishing than Krul's excellence).

should be Mata without a doubt, had an excellent game and played some brilliant passes. But knowing the sun...

FS Record: Dreamteam Mini Leagues also ran :(
These are the errors that really wind me up

Everyone can see it. 4 high quality 'would be' assist passes / crosses in the first half alone - how often do you see a player do that? Then a beautifully lofted ball in 2nd half for Sturridge to set up Ramires.

But because he didn't score, or for whatever reason....the reporter not concentrating etc. he misses out.

I'll be positive and say he will get STARMAN 8-)

On the Chelsea Forum Terry is quite a bit ahead on their MOTM thread with Mata in second. Might bode well though as Mata was clear winner last week with Sturridge in second and the latter bagged that one in the Sun :|

Got to hope too that the reporter watched until the end otherwise he would have missed two late goals and given Star man to Krul. :?

I watched MOTD and didn't see a lot of Mata. Krul seemed to be MOM to me

I hope not because I do not care how well a keeper plays if he has lost 3-0 then MOTM shouldn't be his. I think though it will be him, Terry or Sturridge. I am sure last week the Chelsea Star Man(Sturridge) was chosen by a reporter who only watched MOTD and not the game because Lineker and co were only talking about him after the game and ignored the fact that Mata was the best player on the day. I seriously wouldn't get your hopes up on Mata getting it.

A new conspiracy theory springs to mind here?

Reporter at game freeloads on the host clubs generous hospitailty , eventually finding his way home he watches MOTD and after a 3 minute highlight package he awards his marks? :o
