Wasn't here to read what you said but 3pm is supposed to be the deadline even though it's too late now.

cheers Bloggie.
I ended up tied 1st (altough yet to be officially confirmed). Moved from 7th prior to Saturday and my outfield 6 scored 1 goal between them, so with some decent selections it was possible to come from absolutely nowhere this month.

anyone know the expectation re YTM prizes these days? The hall of fame has been updated and the weekly email a couple of weeks ago mentioned the monthly winners, but i've had no personal contact - should I expect any? I know the Telegraph just send the cheque but i've not really played the Mirror games much, so not sure what to expect - especially in terms of how long before the money arrives!

They sent my 2nd place price money around 4/5 weeks after the end of the month though I was shown as the winner for two days after the last Sunday game

No, don't expect any contact. However, waiting for my cheque took 23 days, but that was 5 years ago now! They didn't contact me and it took me to contact them. Don't worry though, you will get your cheque. But do expect a 4-5 week wait and just don't panic, it will eventually turn up!

Well done!

thanks Terry and Darren.
Think I would have been gutted if I was posted as first then dropped to 2nd. Due to my unfamilarity with the game I was 2nd on Sunday night and happy with a grand but elevated to joint first on Monday - I hadn't realised that the man of the matches were updated on Monday morning - pleasant surprise!
