I thought he did well as you could tell she wasn't going to make it easy for him.
Could imagine many other interviewers sticking to her script and fawning.
He looked excited but then he is a little bit hyper at times.

Saw a bit of it. Pretty good, but you could just tell she's 100% in control of the whole show. No one saw or found out anything
that she didn't want you to see or find out, if that makes sense.

Yes she is. An older version admittedly, but they look very similar these days.

Madge's face certainly looked a bit longer, and more gaunt?

I only caught the last few mins, and she still has "it"

She's never been much cop really. I don't really rate any of her songs and I'm not that keen on her. That last video with the Abba sample was cringeworthy at best. A 50ish year old woman, in a leotard, chillin wiv da homies and being all "street". It was mighty embarrasing. The one thing she has done well is to reinvent her image time after time and mollycoddle the press, with the odd sensational book or video.

I don't watch MTV etc anymore. Her peaks were Papa Don't Preach and Like a Virgin; and Ray of Light vids, imho. The Ray of Light and Beautiful Stranger time was probably her music and physical best?

Possibly more reinventions than Bowie  :?

Maybe but not a patch on the Thin White Duke

Funny you mention Beautiful Stranger as it's the only song of hers I really like. A bit 60s sounding, which is probably why it appeals to me (soundtrack to Austin Powers). Papa don't Preach and Like a Virgin are bog standard Reflex tunes. You can even buy yourself a Madge stylee conical bra if you feel so inclined ? Although it cuts into your chest quite badly :|

I was talking about the physical, rather than musical side there - and predated the daft conical bra?

Nah, she's never done it for me. Always been too slutty or too masculine looking. Always been plenty of fitter pop totty about :D
