I watched that programme, Take me out, the other night.

Paddy McGuinness is clearly the best thing about this modern day Blind Date, but i found myself rather enjoying it!

When introducing the men, he has a series of one liners such as...

Let the cheese see the cracker
Let the plumber see the pipes
Let the wood see the pecker

Some are better than others, obviously. I'm sure my fellow fisoers can come up with some classics. I'll start us off with one of my own......

Let the dogs see the bone (rather apt, i think!)

The women are an odd mix of hot, not so hot, and down right dog ugly (with some desperates thrown in for good measure!)

It's entertaining, if nothing else!

Let the lamb, see the shank

It is a strangely addictive and easy to watch TV programme I reckon, and Paddy is in his element. Mind you, I don't think the current batch are anywhere near as good as last series. The best have been Jo Jo, who got a date a couple of weeks ago (I would!), and Lucy (Welsh bird, she would get it!)

More or less every time yes! I think as the series draws to a close, we will see more and more leaving their lights on. It must be difficult to decide. Keep lighty-for-likey on, and risk leaving the show and losing the limelight but getting a date on the lovely island of Fernando's (ie the posh part of Tenerife!) or take the no-likey-no-lighty route to stay on the show for longer!

I was talking to my wife about this show. There are a lot of girls on there that Paddy doesn't speak to through the whole series, and some faces seem to change each week without announcement after somebody has left.

My theory is, that with 30 ladies taking part, it would be impossible to focus on them all, so there are 15 or so ringers in there who are told to turn their lights out at certain points in the show, just to keep it real, with Paddy talking to the "stars".

When I apply and get on the show next series, I will find out. No wifey? No lighty!
