The last couple of weeks have been fairly brutal for key injuries....and one wonders what else is in store over Xmas just after TW3 slams shut

The Suarez 8 game ban, if delayed until after he smashes now leaky Newcastle and pitiful Blackburn [both at home] could yield enough points for him to be one of leading scorers in next phase

I genuinely think we'll all be wading through treacle during the next month or so. Guys like Aguero, RVP have played a lot of games, internationals as well, so when it hits -2 and they're into 3rd or 4th game in 9 days...I fear for all of them.

If news tomorrow confirms Jones fractured cheekbone, then he is a massive blow to many. Again, could keep him hoping he reappears in 2 weeks with a mask, but will have missed United's easier run and into the last few games of the window with some toughies.

Many managers will have Schwarzer, Suarez and Jones, so 11.5m to play with for 3 players, could mean trasnfers are very samey. There doesn't seem a great deal of options out there.

Going to be a busy day tomorrow, sorting through all this chaos

yeah - tough one edmo........you're in a great position to ride this out though - well played on a great first half!

those of us a bit further back would be looking for some differentials to catch you up and that's not easy when your hand is forced by a few injuries / suspensions to players you wouldn't really want to take out......we're all in the same boat though and they'll be a few surprises yet without doubt,

you worked out how you're going to get Vermaelen in for Taylor yet!

Going by some of the logic I've seen on here recently I should really keep Taylor as:

a) He has lots of points already
b) At least if out injured he won't get minus points

Jones now the big issue, is it broken or not He's not a pansy so surely wouldn't have gone off with a bruised cheek, but following that logic through I fully expect him back on Boxing Day with a Cech mask for Xmas

I can just see a bunch of injuries on the horizon - there comes a point where you just have to make some transfers (...if the site behaves itself! ).
A few weeks out over the season is no big deal and saves you having to bring back in a player or worst still panic someone in as a short-term which wrecks your long term plans.
This is a transfer window with unprecedented difficulties though for everyone......I'm thinking just 'eff it' and do something haphazard!!
