Best out of a bottle would probably be Tanglefoot although ther are many other nice bottled beers.

The best draft pints I've had have been Greene King IPA in the pub under The Royal National hotel in London, some draft Waggledance in a pub in Seaton Sluice near Newcastle and there have been many at the Mill Inn in Chester that rotates through loads of beers on a regular basis with one notable being Bank Top Flat Cap, but the best would have to be a pint of Marstons Pedigree as served by the previous landlord in the pub just down the road from where I live. It's not so good now. :(

I don't like lager.

This is much more interesting than fruit, soup or omelettes.

Landlord and Deuchars used a benchmark for pubs but Harvestouin bitter and twisted is favourite at the moment.

Have so many good breweries practically on the doorstep, Mordue, Allendale in particular

TT's Landlord? Moist?

Don't see that many places, but the pub I used to do some work in sold it and it was exceptionally popular!

Tough one to give a straight answer to.
You can't beat an ice cold Magners on holiday somewhere hot, watching the sun dissapear over the horizon in a lively beach bar.
Guiness goes down well over a few drinks with friends in a snug bar (do they still exist south of Watford?).
Lager is the best tipple on a lads night out, with a few tequila slammers.

Forgot all about the Sam Smiths Old Brewery Pale Ale that used to be on draft at the hopsital social club before they knocked the hospital down. That was a cracking pint and very welcome after a difficult shift or a couple of hours of rugby training.

Those were happy days. :)

I've had a pint of it in The Fox (now The Old Fox after it was done out) in Brum and The Mill in Chester but not for a while now.

Really? Its permanently on in my local and probably in about 50% of the places I go in the North East.

North v South thing possibly then.

With Knulpuk, tbh.

Brown Bitter with Mann's Brown Ale is a fave in the colder winter days; Everard did an interesting ale with lime (I think) this summer, which was more than pleasant, but I would normally go for a Sol\Rolling Rock.

Wheat beer, cider or lager if it's hot.

Dark lager, stout, mild and an occasional newcy broon if not.

Real ale and bitters are made for moany old men with beards and sandals. :D

Right now i'm loving Innis & Gunn's Rum Cask Beer.

My usual weapon of choice is between Duvel, Chimay (any of the colours) and Hoegaarden Forbidden Fruits. Basically I like my beer strong and from central Europe.

Kroenenberg, Peroni, Tiger and Heineken

All this 'lager for girls stuff', I suppose water, coke, orange juice, squash etc is also for girls? If you're a real man you have to drink acid no questions asked! I think those that say that have a little bit of a low self esteem issue about being a man, maybe the comments make up for having a small cock?

Nobody said Lager was for girls Chuck, they said it was for puffs.

Guinness if it's cold, cider if it's warm (or Guinness is crap). The weather not the beer.

Lager is better when it's the height of summer. Bitter more so in Winter (except Boddies which I think has a funny taste). Guinness Red is a nice pint (I can only do about four of the proper stuff as I find it too heavy :? ). At the end of the night, a nice Pear Cider is a good drink.

Things that make up for having a small cock is a whole different thread

I would think mounting gay lambs would be near the top of the list :?
