This will be run in parallel with the league campaign.

Round 1 19th Sept
Qualifying Round: the 16 new teams will be drawn together to play each other in a one off match.

Round 2 26th Sept
The 8 qualifiers and the remaining 24 teams

Round 3 3rd Oct

Our bottom 3 seeds all progress (SL8, I am Kaan and NateDogg).
Takeshi triumphs in the Stokies Derby.
Tom Uk can consider himself very unlucky... 9th highest score of the weekend. Draws his league game and loses his cup match.
Luckiest manager has to be DC82... posts a score of 12 and still progresses.... taking a Premiership scalp in the process.

SL8 have already got to their cup final. A big day in front of the camera's as currenty Premiership leader Dr Bell rolls into town.

Their's an all championship clash as pa takes on the the doc.

Gazwood hopes to avenge some of the humilation of last seasons relegation from the top flight by claiming the premiership scalp of Mistercuts.

La Log newcomer i am kaan faces Sun virgin Barry. The two play each other for a place in the quarter finals.

Premiership strugglers Birchy and Takeshi go head to head. Only goal difference separates them in the league as they look to avoid relegation. Some much needed relief is needed in the cup.

Yeah probably just noticed nearly all my team playing on sunday so no notw points for me this week , was just enticing a bit of banter ( it worked !) think it will be a close run affair with maybe the Dogba v Arshavin battle being the key. Arsh had a stormer in this fixture last season whilst the Dogs on fire in his own back yard ( however have him in my fpl team so kinda conflicting interests!) any ways good luck may the best team win :wink:

It goes from bad to worst for Dr Bell. Knocked off the top spot in the premier league and now the humiliation of a giant killing in the Cup. Credit to SL8 though, the second highest score of the cup teams this weekend.... so more than meriting his place in the quarter finals.

In the all Premiership battle, Birchy triumphs thanks to the odd point victory.
Zimmerman and Birchy the remaining Premiership representatives.

The Doc and Gazwood the sole representatives in the Championship; The Doc winning a very low scoring game against fellow championship manager pa102. Gazwood coming through a relative high scoring game against Premiership opposition.

DC82 registers the highest score of the weekend as he ease through to the next round.

As promised, Kaan did conquer virgin Barry. It was close, but the experience told in the end.

And completing our trio of lowest seeds, Natedogg also goes through to the quarters.
