It seems that blowing the league has all been too much for Gazwood to take.
He's now lost two on the bounce at the start of this campaign as he painfully tries to forget last seasons bad memories.

Meanwhile, sparring partner Ton (despite making no transfers) wracks up another victory and is joint top of the league.

In the Bell derby, Mrs Bell comes out on top. Gentleman Dr Bell would have us believe he threw the match, but the truth is Mrs Bell always wins. Just look at the league table.

One time champ Arsenal4Ever is heading in the wrong direction also.

As if losing to Liverpool wasnt bad enough for Gazwood (who has more than a soft spot for Raffa and the Merseyside Reds). His beloved Stevie G scores a hat-trick. If that wasnt bad enough, yours truly has him in his La Log team and Gaz doesnt.

Meanwhile, in the ex-champions derby, Arsenal come out on top.

Mrs Bell remains top. The only team with a 100% record (and one of only two teams unbeaten).

Next round of games pits the top 4 against each other.

Taking the honours in the second city derby is the Ton.
Transferless he may be, on the piste in another country he is too, winless against his sparring partner? Not a chance of it! The Ton marches on and has Mrs Bell in his sights (about the only one who can still see her).

Mrs Bell is starting to make this look easy. She maintains her 100% record. This week disposing of Takeshi Kovac.

Next fixture, Dr Bell hopes to do his mrs a favour by turning over The Ton.
Yours truly has the challenge of stopping Mrs B.

Next games arent until 25/26 April (which is also the first round of our cup).
