Forget waiting until after GW23, after seeing tonight's football I need to seriously shift some deadwood. :|

Please feel free to laugh at me. I think I may be the only person hoping that Drenthe plays against Spurs, due to the fact that I own Sturridge and only one person on my bench actually played.

Outfield
Vorm: 5pts

Kompany: 6pts
Assou-Ekotto: 6pts
Jones: -2pts

Bale: 6pts
Nani: 2pts
Valencia: 1pt
Drenthe: 0pts

Van Persie: 2pts
Sturridge: 0pts
Adebayor: 2pts

Bench
Hilario: 0pts
Surman: 0pts
Simpson: 6pts
Wilkinson: 0pts

I had Sturridge, Evans and Briggs placed on my bench so any point from Royston will do for me as well (except minus points, of course)

My 5AS opponent is with you on that one - he also has 2 non-playing subs and Vermaelen has already brought his first sub on

sorry i always get nervous about this:

if i spend the next week or so chasing price rises and doing multiple transfers, as long as at the end of the week i play my wildcard it will erase all of the points i have been penalised for the multiple transfers? yeah?

You can do as many transfers as you like with your wildcard, over however many days you want within the deadline, so you could just use your wildcard straight away, no need for 'proper' transfers.

Right everyone?

Yep, you can do it either way round. Might as well play it at the start of the week though and get click happy with your changes.

Well it's certainly safer. Could do 20 normal transfers and then lose your internet connection/get struck down by the plague/hit by a bus at the last minute. Painful! (The point deductions, not the bus).

I'd imagine being hit by a bus would also be painful.....

I'd take getting hit by a bus over contracting the ACTUAL plague.

And both over losing my Internet Connection when I'd made 20 transfers and not played WC

FS Record: FPL a work in progress, got over 2,000 pts last season, usually do a bit better in FISO IKTS league 2nd, 8th, 15th last 3yrs.
Just activated my wildcard, currently

Lindegaard, Vorm,
Simpson, R Taylor, McAuley, N Taylor, Caulker
Ramires, Valencia, Bale, Silva, VDV
RVP, Yakubu, Adebayor

Will switch VDV to Gerrard after Wolves game, may switch Caulker to Shotton if feel SWA exposure too much, relaxed either way as fifth defender and will mostly be playing 3-5-1, 4-5-1. Have flexibility to swtich Ade to cheaper option as form/fixtures dictate.

So in 2-3 weeks could be

Lindegaard, Vorm
Simpson, R Taylor, McAuley, N Taylor, Shotton
Lampard, Valencia, Bale, Silva, Gerrard
RVP, Yakubu, Morison

I am more reluctant to play it than I was earlier in the season; the reason being most of my players have gone up in value and I couldn't afford to get them back in again later if needed. I know the game is about points not cash but it is inhibiting my tinkering somewhat. Incidently wild card not played just yet this gw.
