With Rooney increasingly appearing to play as a midfielder and Hernandez arguably a more natural goalscorer anyway, is it worth swapping Rooney for RVP?
Otherwise I'd have to make about 3/4 transfers to get RVP in, and despite the fact that defensive players have performed (comparatively) poorly so far, I'd rather have the likes of Richards, Enrique and Jones in my team than Warnock, Walker, Riise et al.
Thoughts gentlemen? :?

Rooney at home to Sunderland.

RVP at home to West Brom (unless rested)

Then an International break?

Twist or stick? I'd hang fire for just one more game myself.

Facing same dilema myself. I also need the extra .3 to squeeze VDV in on Sunday. I know Totenham also play their next game on a Monday but don't want to miss any VDV goals/KC.

I know Rooney scored yesterday but that was a deflected goal Gonna be mulling over this til 12:44 on Sat :D

Talking of VDV, does anybody know what the situation with the postponed (due to the riots) Tottenham V Everton game is? I can't find anything about a new date anywhere.

I don't think there is anything to know yet. I can't see it being this side of xmas.

Stay away from the keyboard. If you have to make 4 changes to do a tinker, then it is not worth it IMO.

No. When it was first postponed it was noted that the first available date wasn't until Novemeber but, AFAIK, nothing has been arranged.

Maybe people have assumed there is a free LC midweek, and both are out of it, I think.

(I read it, as opposed to making it up, but not a clue where I got it from.)

From BBC

Arsenal striker Robin van Persie insists he is happy to be rested regularly to ensure he remains fit throughout the season."

But I know a lot of FFT managers who won't be :D

BBC reported earlier RVP to start against West Brom. Probably old news by now.
