Anyone getting excited about the golf this week?

Best I can come up with is that James Driscoll is doing uncharacteristically well in the US, being -4 after 7 holes

He's been total bollacks all year, but has remained in most of my OFL teams as I don't want to waste a transfer to take him out. :|

Why oh why didn't I choose Chris Stroud

Bollocks passes the profanity filter - Admin loves the word.

As in, for me, my choice of Henrik Bjornstad was bollocks and worse.

I did raise a wry smile at the arrival of Aiken this week

Had been considering it myself, but remembered the fun we had on here last winter and thought better of it. He'll win next week when you bench him, mind

Stroud hadn't even teed off when I posted that!

He is doing rather well though, isn't he

Driscoll managed to hold it together too

Tomorrow will be a different day I'm sure.

Don't dismay too much Paddy, Hoffman will come through, it's the back 9 where they're making their scores today

Howell III was one over after 8 holes, and he finished at -5.

Would be great if Garrigus won it, one because of his precarious position in the money list and two because of his nightmare finish earlier in the year.

I'm pulling for Troy Merritt this week in the hope that he does enough to retain his tour card - he had a glorious chance to seal it a couple of weeks ago, but blew it in the final round. He's one of the most enthusiastic tweeters among the pro golfers - even when things aren't going his way.

However, I suspect that he's distracted by the $1m Kodak Challenge. After seeing Fowler birdie the 16th earlier in the day, Merritt must have dumped his approach into the water as he ended up taking six.

Parry - 5 dropped shots in last 4 holes
Aiken - 23rd
Green - 30th
McGrane - 30th

Hoffman & Matteson MC

6 playing and going to drop back - RUBBISH.
Expect strong finishes from Fowler and Watney tonight. None of this shot dropping

Looks like it's going to be a late one in Vegas, so I won't be staying up for the post-event update - I'm sleep deprived enough as it is!
