I'm 3-4-3 and no great alternatives in my opinion. Any consensus on this? Obvious option is Smalling but Utd have tough fixtures and could be out the cup and Fergie loves to rotate. Have Pepe, Enrique, Jones, Walker. What am I missing?

Got many transfers? I'm in a similar situation with most teams and am sitting tight as there are no obvious stand out replacements.

How long is he out for?

Have you considered Richards? £3.9m, so needs extra cash, but City have soft fixtures and are due to stuff someone soon.

I have 18 transfers so enough to make the change and I think I will. Didn't I read 4 weeks out? Which in Fergie-Time could mean that he is back tomorrow. Richards is the obvious option but do I really want to be transferring in a player who doesn't have the FA Cup? I have the funds, I really can't see an obvious change though. Shame that I can't go 2-5-3:-)

Edit

I just seen this. I think I will now hold if he will be back soon. Really difficult to get accurate inforation from Ferguson.

Simpson playing well for Newcastle (depends if you think their defensive horrorshow recently was just a blip...)

Now he's out of the cup, maybe worth a switch. Man u players have been hard to pick with so many patches of ff points. Does anyone know if jones will be back next week?

Commentators speculated not.

Not exactly blessed with candidates in defence. Any options tomorrow?

Going on their current form you can make a case for a Sunderland defender. O'Shea seems to be the one definite starter for them lately, and has scored ok over the last few weeks, and can be a direct swap for Jones at the same price. Any takers?

I am looking at Enrique, still in cup and he gets forward for KC (and maybe occasional goal  )

Is anyone else contemplating jones to sessegnon today?

20 transfers left, chasing a 20 point lead, team in first very similar to mine and need to claw back some of the gap.

Either Sessegnon or Larsson both look tempting. Don't have Jones but am thinking of switching a midfielder to one of those 2. Sunderalnd obviously look a different team now O'Neil is in charge and I think both Sess and Lar offer good value for money. The tricky bit is choosing between the 2 of them.

I jumped Friday evening and swapped Jones out (he was in almost all my teams) - with the more positive news about his injury I'm now thinking I might have made a mistake

Depending on the budget situation of each team he was mainly swapped out for either Richards or Riise. Most of my teams are 3-4-3 or 3-5-2, so it had to be a defender.

Went with O'shea today due to their favourable fixtures, just hope they get through and an easy game next round :D

Edit: Actually a 0-0 draw and Sunderland winning the replay after 0-0 > penalty shoot out in which o'shea takes one. Optermistic perhaps

1-1 was close enough. Another draw after extra time then it's penalties. Sessegnon and O'Shea scoring both would be nice!
