Personally think Rhys Davies should get in. A Welsh representative will be great PR for the event.

Didn't he break the course record on the 2010 in the Wales Open, best putter on the European Tour (huge advantage in Matchplay) & the home support will lift him.

Woods is going backwards so fast he's now outside the projected Top 100 and next week's event.

If Monty doesn't pick Padraig,Casey and Donald I will be even more convinced that he is a publicity-seeking twit.He could even make Sir Nick look good.

Gleneagles is playing tough today, only a handful under par so far.

The Molinari Matchplay should be intriguing to watch, Francesco for me every time.

Luke Donald got news of his Ryder selection having already birdied 7 of the first 9 then relief set in and then bogied 5....

and I was in for 3 top 8 finishes in OFL.
I'm sure he would have liked to have celebrated his selection with a win though.
