Anyone else got iPhone issues?

I can't log on to fpl via my iPhone (3GS). The page comes up all shuffled about and a black bar across the top reads 'please turn on java script to play FPL'. I can't do anything and it takes ages to load a page! Very annoying!

Help!

looks like they've done an update to the site today with some changes to the navigation and some other pointless cosmetic nonsense, so that is probably the cause. can you get in via http://m.fantasy.premierleague.com/ instead perhaps?

works perfect on my phone, perhaps because it is this one: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nokia_6610i (the model is aimed at "business users" apparently)

Is there not an app (or something similar), like the one last season?

I'm using the same one I used last season called Fantasy Football Manager (FFM). It's not brilliant but it's workable.

Is that all there is? I'm working away at the mo and moving house at the weekend so have no internet! My phone is my only way of keeping on top of my FPL team and it's a pain in the arse!!

I've had exactly the same problem for the last 3 weeks on my iphone 3GS. It only started when I upgraded my phone software to IOS5, it was working fine before that. It's really annoying and virtually impossible to use the website.

I downloaded the FFM app instead, but it isn't great - didn't work at all for the first week, until they fixed a bug, but it isn't too bad at the moment.

Great, the m.fantasy .... site works fine fine on my phone. I used that site all last year on my phone, but hadn't been able to get it working this season until now. They just love tinkering with the site!

Javascript is disabled on our works' computers and at the start of the season several members of our works' superleague were threatening not to play after FPL had revamped their site and began requiring users to enable Javascript in order to make team transfers.

Thankfully I managed to find a solution for them which was to use the mobile version of the site on their desktop computers. With no help from FPL mind. For some strange reason they like to keep their mobile URL hidden these days. Even if you are surfing on a phone which seems really odd. In the end I just had to make a guess what the mobile address might be!

Weve been unable to login to the site from work as well for the last 2 weeks.
So its not just a phone issue.
Will post acreen shot later.
Very annoying and it will stop people using the game if they cant use it from work as well

I will try the other links on the thread when i go to work in a minute.

Meantime , is there a downloadable spreadsheet with the players o / current value on it ?

It's fine for me on Mozilla (PC).
There's a chance that you've had a recent Java update which is causing an issue. If you know how to, you could uninstall that update and see if that 'cures' the problem.
It's been an age since I've done this so can't advise how - but I'm sure someone in the Compy/Techy forum will know if you don't already, or Google it - it's not hard, I'm sure.

It's basically stored data on your computer or phone from using the internet. You can clear it on your internet settings from your browser or your phone.

The browser cache is storage in all web browsers designed to help pages load more quickly. The first time you load a web page, it is loaded straight from the web. Then, the browser saves a copy of the page and all the images in a file on your machine. The next time you go to that page, your browser opens the page from your hard drive rather than the server. Sometimes this cache gets corrupted and needs clearing to refresh the data.

Try this link for instructions on how to clear the cache. Watch the options you select if you like to use the browser feature to store passwords as this is usually one of the default options to be cleared. The one you are looking for is labelled "Cache" or "temporary internet files".

This looks like it may be a little more complex then. It will help if you can post the name/version of the browser and anti-virus software you use to target diagnosis a little better. You can usually find this information under the products help menus. For IE8 or IE9 it is under Help on the menu bar, Help->About Internet Explorer. If you don't see the menu bar, right click on a blank part of the IE heading at the top of the page and click the Menu Bar option.

You may have malware running on your PC which is re-directing image links to track the websites you are visiting, so a quick check on the programs run at startup will also help. Can you PM me a list of the programs windows runs on your laptop at startup. Go to Start Menu->All Programs->Accessories->System Tools->System Information. Under the the Software Environment element should be a Startup Programs option. Click this to see a list of programs run at startup. Click anywhere on the right hand pane and press CTRL+A on your keyboard to select all the entries then CTRL+C to copy the data. Start your PM to me and then CTRL+V to paste the information into your post.

This all sounds very complicated to me!! I'll have a go at everything suggested. Thanks Eagle 8-)
