A bit of a girly enquiry here....
My sister just said, "you know that geeky sports forum you use, could you ask a question on there for me?"
So, here goes....
She went into Jane Norman today to spend what was left on her 'club card/loyalty card' whatever it is. With this card, your friends and family put money on the card (or buy you the card, in the same way a voucher is used i imagine). I'm a bit out of touch with this sort of stuff, and don't own a single loyalty card, or hold any accounts with any high street brands.
Anyways, she had £35 left on this card, so decided to buy a new dress/bag/shoes whatever. She was told by the lady behind the counter that to use the £35 credit, she'd have to double her spend!! So, the only way she could 'redeem' the credit was to make purchases to the tune of £70+
Jane Norman went into administration not long ago, and the cashier said those were the instructions sent down from above!!
I guess the question is - can they do that? Imagine buying your mom/wife or someone a £20 WHSmith voucher, but they can only use it if they spend £40 or more!!
Surely that can't be right??
I appreciate with the player prices trickling out, that this question may slide down the table quicker than Birmingham City (

), but i said i'd ask - so i'm asking!!
Over to you...
