Big mistake by YTM. They are giving the goal to Zabaleta. I wrote to helpdesk the following statement today:

Hi Sirs,

I can´t believe you are giving the goal to Zabaleta, when Jacobsen could put the ball into a corner or stop it. It´s not a deflected strike from Zabaleta. Please see the images, in the past you have consider many own goals when this happened. And this could be decisive for the win in the competition!!!

Everybody has given the goal to Zabaleta.

Traditonally if the shot is on target (however poor or stoppable) it is given to the player taking the shot. The only give o.g.s if the shot was definitely off target.

On Daily Mirror match report:

Zabaleta chested the ball down before drilling it into the six-yard box, where Hammers full-back Lars Jacobsen could only manage to steer it into the roof of the net as he attempted to hoof it clear.

Everybody has got it wrong - it was clearly an own-goal

It was definitely an own goal. Anybody at the top who had Zabeleta and Lampard this weekend must feel that they are destined to win the whole thing.

Zabalata's goal in my eyes, unless it's heading off target then he's credited the goal.

He was the one shooting, may well have gone in even without Jacobsen, can't really complain.

Anyone who plays fantasy football knows that who actually scores the goal is irrelevant. What matters is who the PA (Press Association) award it to.

But since you are Portugese, we'll forgive your ignorance on this occasion Rui. But not next time.

There is flexibility for assists and different games often determine assists differently. But generally they all follow the "official line" as regards goals.

Rui, just be grateful that Silva didn't get more than one assist and MotM at home against West Ham - it could have been a lot worse (I would have been happy if Gerrard had been limited to those points against Burnley last season  ).

Good luck for the remainder, enjoy the competition, and don't get too stressed about things out of your control.

Peter, in fact and despite Zabaleta fabulous goal, MotM was D Silva for YTM. But that, I think it was a fair decision. Of course I´m stressed because being 64 pts behind one month ago, and cutting back Tranter´s lead to 24 pts was great (on Monday), but being now behind by 29 pts because of 5 pts (Huth MM) which were ridiculous, it´s not easy to accept. Hmm...Gerrard...Burnley...was on the 36th week last season...was only 15 pts (i won by 18)...but i have to find my Gerrard for this week/season. :)
