Any of you thinking of getting him in, or back in to your team?

At 9.2m this price could rise steeply soon.

He should be straight back in the starting line-up and I can see him 'hitting the ground running'. Liverpool are still creating plenty of chances each game and I cannot see him being 'rested' after his eight match ban so there will be plenty of 75-90min matches coming up for him.

IMO Suarez is 'potential fantasy gold' and 'fixture proof' as he is world class. He scores goals (unlucky not to have scored a lot more goals up to his ban), gets assists (when he actually decides to pass), takes players on, changes games, can take a good free-kick and penalty (but no pens when Gerrard plays) - He's a potential bonni magnet even under this new bonni system.

Also I think this game is all about timing...not about 'who will outscore who' by the end of the season. So could be a good move bringing him in now whilst he's raring to go and the other main strikers, barring RVP and Ba, are either not 'firing', not consistent enough, or injured (Rooney, Sturridge, Aguero, Adebayor, Balotelli, Gervinho), or suspended (Yak), not guarenteed a starting place (Hernandez, Wellbeck, Dzecko, Defoe) or simply 'died of death' (Torres, Klasnic, Agbonlahor, Odemwingie, Drogba, and Carroll).

Right...I've just talked myself in to getting him in asap! :)

24: TOT will play their usual expansive football away from home and do concede
25: MAN not the greatest defence / team I've ever seen at the moment
26: NO GAME - well that is what a squad is for..then the double GW comes along

I don't buy this 'fixtures debate' any more after seeing plenty of goals in games between the top teams and vice versa, where there have been few goals in games that teams have expected to win big.

Rvp Aguero and Ba look much better because of a combination of value, form and fixtures coming up.

Had Suarez from the beginning and kept him until the suspension just telling myslef that this terrible luck would change. It never did, he is world class you are correct but when or is that luck going to change? I don't know if I can deal with that same frustration for the second half of the season.

Suarez hasn't managed a double-figure score all season, which is crap for someone of his price. He's far too wasteful for a supposedly top striker.

Not for me.

I was in exactly the same situation. He had a freak run when he had no luck in front of goal and his radar was slightly off some games. That was a freak run though. He's a lethal finisher, those who only follow the English Premiership might not believe that now, but they will see it soon enough. I plan to get him back in for Aguero or Ba in early March.

You can't ignore his sheer inability to hit the target or keep his head, neither of which transfer into anything near decent fantasy points. Had him for too long while many others strikers scored well. So I'm out.
