I've just come across this free game - didn't know Irish Times did fantasy games until I noticed the Fantasy 6 Nations thread. Anyway, they've got a golf game too, hosted by the much-loved Silent Manager.

http://fantasygolf.irishtimes.com/default.aspx

Rough outline seems to be 10 players, one from each group, 2 changes per week (needs a pin code though :? ) and captain's points. Up to 5 free entries per person.

I've not set an F&E League up as I've not registered myself yet - got OFL, NCG etc. to do first - but thought I'd flag it up to folk.

Good spot - have chucked a team in (but decided not to call it Forever England for obvious purposes!). Seems like UK residents are eligable for the prizes but the weekly pass code from the paper could prove tricky!

I have read the online version quite a bit in the past as I'm quite into my Magners League rugby, but it looks like the passcode will only appear in the printed version - anyone in RoI out there??? :)

Not sure it will be. YP and Scotsman are both Johnstone Press publications, I think Irish Times is independent. Not sure how happy they would be to keep using 'Muirfield', 'Gleneagles', 'Montgomerie' etc as weekly passwords!

Either way, hopefully someone will be about to help us. 8-)

I will be happy to oblige on the password front :)

UK residents must be prepared to travel to the Emerald Isle at own expense to pick up their prize (per T & C)......A minor inconvenience if the sum involved is €15,000

Thanks Tony - will give it a go and if successful in winning will arrange a trip to the emerald isle that includes treating you to a round on any of the courses out there ;0)

May even stretch to lunch and a few black ones

Password is FISO, Polarbear - I've just accepted 15 teams who are now pending and should appear sometime in the next 24 hours - didn't see your name on the list though. :?

Oh, you are allowed 5 teams each, I notice some have gone with just one - which is fine, just wanted you all to be aware of the extra teams allowed.

Also not sure on a couple of the names on the list ? Please let me know who is who or I may have to evict you from the League.

Deadline for entries to this League will be 4.00pm Friday 8th

Probably won't have time to maintain 5 teams so my one is in, you should hopefully be able to recognise it!

Thanks
