The RVP elbow.....

I've not seen it so could anyone (with a basic knowledge of how these things work) let me know if they think a ban is likely, ta.

No MTIBTYT / 'he's a dirty git' type rubbish please, this isn't "football talk", I only care about it from an FF POV

its down to the ref & his report really.
if he says he's seen it & didn't take action, thats it, no ban.
if he says he didn't see it properly but would've taken action had he, a ban maybe forthcoming

The Fa have announced that the ref did see the incident and didn't consider it warranted action,so no action will be taken by the FA(per TalkTalk)

Pulis took him off as a precaution ahead of the MU game,so he should be OK to play http://www.stokecityfc.com/page/NewsDet ... 03,00.html

You would have thought they could have used one Senegalese forward for each game.

This is a report by a fan from Manchester City's training ground, around today's training session. http://www.bluemoon-mcfc.co.uk/Blog/ind ... -03022012/

It puts some doubt on Vincent Kompany's participation tomorrow:

Anyway the sun was shining as the players came out and everybody present except Vinnie who is still not right with the knee he injured at Everton... Vinnie came out for some work with Carminati to give hope for tomorrow

You can read what you will into it but VK must be a late fitness test at least, IMO.

Early news on Kompany and Nasri is positive

http://www.bluemoon-mcfc.co.uk/Blog/ind ... t-08022012

Possible injuries to Razak and Rekik but I doubt anyone in the world has them in their fantasy teams! (unless it's as a low budget non-playing filler to free up funds elsewhere)

News on some FA Cup absentees (not just rested then...)

Spurs
BAE "had a small operation at the start of the week."
Adebayor "did his knee on Friday morning, he twisted it. We thought he might have opened his ligament up, but it's not too bad"
Modric "had an unbelievable temperature. He was really ill."
VDV - still calf problems

Liverpool
Bellamy / Agger "We had a couple of injuries on Friday and Saturday.. We'll have to see how they are but they should be alright [for next weekend], I think."

The weather is warming up as the week goes on, so vdV's soft tissue issues will be less prone to strains\pulls etc
