The improbably named Manchester City player Alex Tchuimeni-Nimely is out for 6-8 weeks

Of slightly more importance, Arsenal's Theo Walcott reported to be out for 6 weeks; still awaiting official confirmation

Luka Modric suspected leg break after a blow on the same bone that was fractured last season. :(

Along with Defoe and Dawson's injuries - this is a complete disaster for Spurs, they needed their best players to steer clear of major injuries and it hasn't happened and (the brilliant) Modric will be a sad loss to the Champions League.

Liverpool say the Konchesky substitution was just precautionary and he should be OK for Thursday (have to say it looked slightly more than 'precautionary' to me)

(to avoid a new FFL thread in every game forum...)

Frank Lampard is not yet fully recovered from surgery on his groin and will not be available for Sunday's game.

Carlo Ancelotti believes the midfielder could make his return in the Carling Cup against Newcastle on Wednesday.

Jose Bosingwa remains unavailable but Yossi Benayoun will be in the squad. The Jewish holy day that will keep Avram Grant and Tal Ben Haim away from West Ham's game on Saturday finishes before Sunday

David Dunn is not in the squad after picking up an injury playing for the reserves in midweek, while Martin Olsson and Jason Roberts are also out through injury.

Dr Peter Brukner said: "Dirk has damaged his shoulder at the A-C joint, which is between the collar bone and the shoulder. He is likely to be out for four weeks."

Dirk Kuyt ahead of schedule. May even be back this weekend, more likely UEFA Cup next midweek. "Dirk has trained the last couple of days. We're trying to protect him a little bit but he's made a remarkable recovery, so it'll be interesting to see how he progresses on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday in relation to Saturday's game and the game next Thursday."

Aurelio "it's a little more tricky. The sports science people are very anxious they get him 100 per cent right before they throw him back in because they don't want a situation where he's dropping out again. But he's making very good progress and if push came to shove we could use him."

Arsenal's Kieran Gibbs only has severe bruising to his foot and has not broken anything; no indication of how long his short-term absence will be

Fulham's Moussa Dembele also cleared of serious injuiry; again no indication of absence length, if any
